Have they stated anywhere when the next gen upgrade would be released?

Have to love their commitment to backwards compatibility. Love being able to play my library of games with enhancements.

In exactly 3 weeks I'll have the series X in my hands. Lets gooooo!!!!! Also, smart delivery is awesome.

The demo for scourgebringer was pretty good. Glad to see it come to Gamepass.

@Bobobiwan will probably be the first game I test out on launch. Then I'll probably hit up gamepass to play Gears tactics and Tetris effect.

@S1ayeR74 yeah, I saw Dirt and Yakuza which obviously didn't blow anyone away. When i saw this article about ray tracing in Watchdogs I was hoping there would be a video attached. It seems that Microsoft is drip feeding game videos out as we get closer so I hope we get some more soon. The new Assassins Creed trailer was pretty stunning but I don't believe it specified what it was running on.

@Medic_Alert i have a series X preordered mainly to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla at its best while finishing my backlog of games with higher frame rates and quicker load times. I have my launch expectations in check and am getting it knowing I won't be getting the most out of it until a little bit further down the road.

Really wish we could see some examples of next gen Xbox games in action with ray tracing. Anyone know if they have released any videos that show any of the new titles running on series X with all the bells and whistles?

@Darthroseman i agree. The games that do support mouse and keyboard work well but i would definitely like to see more.

I hope we get to a point where we can use Xcloud on the Xbox console to stream the PC titles on offer. Allowing people an avenue into Pc gaming without actually having to build one would make an already great service unbeatable.

I think it's safe to say that Microsoft is going after Sony's biggest strength and creating some narrative driven third person adventure games.

Scourgebringer was one of the games they released a demo for when they had that week long demo event. Was definitely one of the good ones. Excited to play it soon.

That's a damn big box. I have one of these and one series S to pick up for in store delivery at Best Buy on launch. I'm going to look like Sam Bridges from Death Stranding trying to carry these out.

I think they are just trying to build up to launch. This would be one of the first launch games you would show. Expect the heavier hitters closer to launch. It's just a cross gen game put out by codemasters so I would keep my expectations in check.

Would love to see the From Software series Otogi from the original Xbox get backwards compatibility. Would also like to see Gunvalkryie on the list. I'd also like the Xbox exclusive Dino Crisis 3, not because it was a good game, but just for nostalgia and a laugh or two.

I wish they would have waited for it to be completely finished and optimized for next gen before releasing. I would have preferred waiting over having their employees work 6 days a week and operating on crunch.

I was trying to buy Panzer Dragoon for 2 days now and it kept giving me an error. I wonder if them keeping it has something to do with the store error.

I have a feeling you'll be able to play Dishonored again soon considering Microsoft is in the process of buying them.

This is awesome news. I use the backward compatibility option often. I just hope we get to see some games running on series X with all the bells and whistles soon since it comes out in exactly 6 weeks.

@LX_FENIX you can still see it when you boot up an original Xbox title. Forgot how cool it was until i played Panzer Dragoon yesterday.

I'll be really excited to see gameplay taking full advantage of the series X. I am very happy about the further enhancements to older titles as well since I do use the backwards compatibility feature often.

@Nexozi oh I forgot to mention that they added Xcloud with that price too. Whispers quietly: this is too good of a deal.

So we're getting all the games from Microsoft's 23 studios on gamepass, plus whatever third party and indie games they choose to add, plus EA Play as well? This is 15 a month for ultimate? Don't tell them but I think they could up the price a bit and I would still feel this was a good deal.

Speaking of Perfect Dark, how awesome would it be to see Arcane make a Perfect Dark game with their spin on it now that Microsoft owns that studio?

Took 4 hours of persistance in the US but i managed to get a series X and 2 series S consoles for my kids. That was a lot of refreshing and switching websites.

Imagine what the big Microsoft shows will be like now that they have all these additional studios. You're going to need a 2 hour press conference.

Would be cool if they were including the PC Xbox Gamepass games into the streaming program so you could stream the pc titles on Xbox as well.

The Haven demo that was released during the week of demos was really good. The fact you get that game on Gamepass day one is just crazy. Gamepass continues to be the best deal in gaming.

This is crap. I bought the game on PS4 and Xbox along with all DLC available on both consoles and now I have to buy it all over again? They should at least allow for a cheap upgrade fee. Even that is pushing it though.

@ralphdibny Yeah, seems a little backwards. Spend your money on the game and we'll give you a demo to see if it's worth your money.

For that price it better have Spider-Man in it.

@BlueOcean the latest release date I saw just said summer.

@sixrings it plays like classic sega arcade racers. Drifting plays a big part because it gives you boost. You can pick up the controls after just a few races. Really enjoying it.

I'm loving this game so far. Got gold on 2 cups. Going to play some more. Hope it comes out soon.

Playing Disintegration during the free play weekend on Xbox and still playing Ghost on PS4.

I looked it up on the online store on my phone and clicked the see price button and it said 9.99. I hit the back button after that and it refreshed the product description page where it now said free and let me grab it.

Please no. I own all three consoles and I can't handle any more.

@Jaxx420 That's why I usually play 3 games at once. A bigger game, an indie game, and a games as a service game at the same time. I swap out as I beat missions so im never away from any game too long and im always making progress.

@Jaxx420 The last of Us 2 was one of my favorite games this year but it takes an investment in time. Gears 5 is really good if you just want a good looking summer blockbuster action game to plow through. So......Last of Us if you want story, Gears if you want some mindless fun action.

Keep getting get lost in Carrion with no map, but still having fun. Hopefully I finish it. Also playing Ghost on the other box and maybe I'll try and play catch up on Destiny 2 this weekend.

2 trailers and we don't even know what this game is. I was hoping for a gameplay trailer or something.

Dissapointed. No reason to upgrade my Xbox one X. I'll play what's coming out on Gamepass on my current machine. Mostly cinematics with no gameplay for games other than Halo and games that will eventually be on other platforms.

I really hope this is a defining show for Xbox. It's kind of put up or shut up time. Phil has done so many positive things for the brand and the services at Xbox. Now he just has to show that the biggest issue this generation has been fixed. Bring on the games.
