So..... December is Immortals Fenyx Rising, Cyberpunk (possibly), Dragon Quest, and now this. I thought December was going to be a time to catch up.

@Tharsman @FraserG it's a pretty hefty update so I think it's important to point it out in case people want to revisit it. I forgot about it until this article. Even if it isn't a new game, it is a Game pass update.

@roe it may be time for an intervention. I just got a Series X and a PS5 and I still have lots of games from last gen to beat. I need to either get rid of work or sleep.

Ark is now optimized for series X and S as well with some big improvements. Not sure if that pertains to this list but worth noting I guess. Thanks for all the info.

@Gipsons the only problem i see right off the bat with the series S is that there is only like 386 gb of storage available on the drive and Next gen Call of Duty already takes over 100 gb.

@Gipsons i got both an X and an S for my son. Set them both up. Both are super quiet and very quick. Operating the menus on both is super fast with no lag. I'll have to wait until some bigger games are finished downloading for gameplay comparisons.

Tetris Effect is cool but a little assaulting on the eyes. It's like bringing the Tetris you know and love in to a rave while intoxicated.

Going to pick up my Series X from curbside service in about 2 hours. Very excited to jump in. Already preordered Assassins Creed after trrading in my one X.

I think we figured out how the deals are going to get Microsoft cloud streaming on Apple devices.

Just got my confirmations for my series X and series S from Best Buy. They actually let me schedule an appointment to pick them up during a window 3 hours before the store opens.

I don't buy games physically but I definitely feel bad for people who do or people buying gifts that have to sort through all this.

Demo was really good. Game Pass continues to go strong. We've got Tetris effect Connected, Gears Tactics, Dragon Quest, and now Haven on the way this year.

The Ps4 and Xbox One versions of this game have become a pre-order bonus for the real version of the game that launches sometime on next gen. If they were serious about any kind of current gen version they should have recruited Saber Interactive who brought The Witcher to Switch.

@TheFrenchiestFry i forgot that they also have some Crystal Dynamics talent at that studio. It's kind of bits of every studio that makes good third person games. I think anything less than a 9/10 game from this studio will be considered a disappointment. Expections are high.

@TheFrenchiestFry im really excited to see what the Initiative is working on. With talent from Naughty Dog, Rockstar, and the God of War team they might be able to crack into Sony's dominance in the third person adventure genre.

I think Phil has done one of the biggest turn arounds as far as the perception of the current Xbox console. The Xbox One was dead in the water until Gamepass and the studio acquisitions.

@hallower1980 it'll still look as beautiful with the dinos, it will just run at 5 frames a second. 😉

@thejameswhogames it says in the statement they have to make the game compatible with PS5 and Xbox Series X so that doesn't sound promising. I'm guessing next year for next gen versions which is probably the only systems this game should have been targeted for in the first place considering the struggles with current gen.

I'd be really excited about this if it had at least been given the Xbox one X enhancement treatment. Played a lot of this on the N64.

Wish we could get some videos of these running on series X considering launch is 2 weeks away as of tomorrow.

Great game. Loved the variety of the later levels. Beat it but need to go back and try to get the collectibles.

This is great news. Gears 5 looked great on the Xbox one X. Can't wait to play it on the series X.

I see these winding up on ebay and being mistaken for the real console. Some kids are going to end up with cardboard consoles for Christmas.
