Ooblets, which is in early access, just dropped a few days ago. There's a 60 minute trial so you can test the waters, and you can buy it for cheap now if you're interested. Bought it and loving it. It's basically shades of Pokemon, Harvest Moon, and Animal Crossing mixed into one game. Pretty chill and fun experience, and there are dance battles! What's not to love? I'm also playing that Ghost game on that other box.
I took off for a week starting the 23rd to watch the Xbox games showcase and play the massive amounts of demos coming out. Thank goodness for 4TB add on hard drives.
Been looking forward to Carrion for a bit. Awesome that it's on Gamepass. Creaks was reviewed well over on Push Square so I might have to check that out too.
@Medic_Alert Good point. We've actually seen this happen with one of the Lord of the rings games that launched cross gen. The PS3 version didnt have the nemesis system in it and reviews said the game was not even worth touching.
Id assume the only differences would be the lack of ray tracing on current gen consoles as well as lower resolution / framerate. It'll just be like playing a PC game on the lowest settings versus playing it at max settings which can be drastically different visually.
I'd like to see them knock this out of the park. Would be great for consumers if all three major consoles were firing on all cylinders next generation.
Will watch to see Star Wars: Squadrons gameplay and hope for some Mass Effect trilogy news. Wishing for a next gen SSX game or even SSX Tricky remastered. I'd take it.
Madden is always solid but I miss when 2k had their football game. Not much need for EA to improve every year when they are the only game in town. Competition is always a good thing for consumers.
Can only play 30 minutes at a time in the demo but it seemed like a very solid game already. Not usually a fan of games that you have to gather lots of resources but this one seemed to move at a faster pace than most in that genre. Looking forward to trying this multiplayer when the game hits game pass next month.
If they know for a fact they have the most competitive price already they might drop it with the games in July, otherwise they probably wait for Sony to reveal their price.

Re: Xbox Summer Demo Event Now Live, 70+ Games Available
Only have a few left to play. Cris Tales and Haven are definitely the standouts so far.
Re: Talking Point: Give Us Your Wildest Hopes For This Week's Xbox Showcase
Really would go nuts over a new Crimson Skies game. Wouldn't mind a Jet Force Gemini sequel either.
Re: The Xbox Summer Demo Event Has Begun, 50+ Games Now Available
Only 50 games to try out? I got this. Who needs sleep?
Re: Project xCloud Isn't The Official Name Of Xbox's Game Streaming Service
They'll just drop the project from project Xcloud and call it Xcloud.
Re: Pick One: Which Do You Most Want To See At July's Xbox Showcase?
@BlueOcean That would be fantastic. Hopefully we get something like that. Also hoping for some totally new franchises.
Re: Pick One: Which Do You Most Want To See At July's Xbox Showcase?
I want a Perfect Dark reboot but I want it to transition to a 3rd person stealth action game. I think that could work well.

Re: Expect Additional World Premieres At Next Week's Xbox Pre-Show
Im going out on a limb and predicting Battletoads is surprise dropped as available now during the show. We haven't seen that one in forever.
Re: Expect Additional World Premieres At Next Week's Xbox Pre-Show
Will be watching both. Hope Microsoft really comes out swinging and delivers with some games.

Just give me an SSX Tricky remaster or next gen game in that series and I'll be very happy.
