Definitely Xbox One and Series X.

This weekend I will continue playing Final Fantasy X but I was also thinking of playing through Mega Man Battle Network 4: Blue Moon once and for all and then keep going with Battle Network 5, 6 and then the Star Force games, all on Switch.
I will also continue playing Ninja Gaiden 4 on Series X that I got yesterday(bought the Deluxe Edition and was expecting a code but it actually came with the full game on disc so that's freaking awesome).

This weekend I'm continuing FFX aswell as my MOTORSLICE playthrough(very fitting game to play currently as it's pretty warm over here), don't think I'll have the energy to play anything else this weekend so when I'm not playing those two games, I will probably just be on Youtube, watching my usual stuff.

Think I bought mine for...$600 back in 2022 when it finally showed up in stock here in Sweden after having been out of stock since launch.

Them choosing this route could also have something to do with a desire to prevent the game from leaking early which I would at least appreciate but at that point, releasing it as a digital-only title would make more sense, with a physical disc-based copy being able to be released in a year or two.

I'll buy this thing digitally, a year from now or something, maybe during black friday next year.

This weekend I will keep playing Final Fantasy X on Switch along with Into the Breach but I will keep playing Motorslice too aswell as probably continue playing Outriders with my brother in arns.

Having cleared Live A Live earlier this week(not true ending tho), this weekend I'm finally continuing to play Final Fantasy X that I started on Switch two years ago and hopefully this time I'll actually play through it.
On top of that, I'm still playing Outriders with a friend(me on Series X, him on PC) and I might play more of Into the Breach on Switch when I am not playing the other two games.

Meanwhile, Sony and Microsoft was pretty meh in that regard.
As for SGF, I barely recall what was even shown.

The Nintendo Direct was 100% the best showcase in my opinion.

This weekend I'm playing Live A Live again aswell as replaying Outriders for the third time(such a good freaking game) except this time I'm playing with a buddy who has never played it before and another buddy might join us so that we can play with a full team so I'm excited about that.

Forgot to check in on the showcase or whatever but after skimming through Gematsu's coverage, I guess I'd say...F, maybe?

Oh...this looks way worse than I could have ever imagined...

Genuinely got a bit confused there as I classify very specific games as being Souls-likes, a prime example being the 2023 reboot of Lords of the Fallen.
As for the Remnant games tho? For me personally, while they still have elements seen in a proper Souls-like, they are as far from the sub-genre as a game can be due to them being loot-based third-person shooters at their core with overall pretty bad bosses all around, among other issues. 😅

Since when is Remnant 2 a Souls-like?
I beat that game twice and really didn't notice anything that felt even remotely close to what I think of when I hear Souls-like.

After having beaten Octopath Traveler II on monday of this week(185 hours played and the whole project took exactly 90 days to finish), I have been in a bit of a haze but I have since started with the Live A Live remake on Switch and will be playing that one this weekend.
Will probably play some Balatro aswell.

This is probably for the better, tbh.

In before they randomly decide to cancel the game altogether. 😅

Planning on maybe reading Gematsu's coverage after the fact.

Hopefully developers will actually optimize their UE6 games for both PC and consoles instead of optimizing them poorly for PC and then downgrading the "optimized" PC version and releasing it as is on consoles.

Of the new games released this year, Crimson Desert and Romeo is a Dead Man are still my favorites as I haven't bothered with most of the other new games yet.
Mouse: P.I. feels like it might reach my top 10 tho, based on what I have played, and the remaster of WiZmans World Re;Try also has the potential to reach the higher spots in said top 10 but only time will tell.

This weekend I will continue playing Octopath Traveler 2 on Switch.
I'm now 175 hours in and after nearly three months of non-stop playing, I'm almost ready to take on the final boss and beat the game.
My only real "complaint" about the game is that overall, it has been a bit too easy for my liking but other than that, Octopath Traveler 2 is a true 10 out of 10 game, for once.

Sure will, pre-ordered it as soon as I had watched the gameplay reveal trailer.
Game looks very interesting.

The first is the best and one I go back to a few times a year but I also liked what little I tried of...5 I think it was, a few years back.
I should probably buy it at some point and play through it.

My only real hope is that they delay this year's game and let the developers really cook for once.
I for one would love to see the series return to form but as long as Activision and Microsoft keep puking out slop like Black Ops...7(?) and Modern Warfare 3(2023), that will never happen.

I remember dropping it very early on due to it feeling too..."western" for my liking.

A shame because I really wanted to like what it actually got right, the fusion of turn-based RPG and Sekiro-style deflects being the primary thing.

I can't see myself using that at all so being able to hide it would be neat.

This weekend I'm still playing Octopath Traveler II(on Switch) and Crimson Desert(PS5).

This is probably what my weekends will look like for the forseeable future and that's fine because both games are incredible.

I have bought exactly zero consoles at launch and I see no reason to start changing that now.
I think I got the Dreamcast for my ninth birthday tho, which was around a month after its european launch.

This weekend I'm still continuing my way through Octopath Traveler II, 85 hours in and still not at the halfway point, pretty great game so far.
Oh, I've finally started Crimson Desert too but have only played like 5 hours so far, feels pretty solid tho.

This weekend I'm continuing to play Octopath Traveler II on Switch with some Bravely Default HD Remaster on the side.

Just found out there was a showcase so I can't give it any kind of score as I haven't looked into if they even showed anything noteworthy.

I recall Hardline being decent for what it was but it could have and should have been more polished than it was.
I'm also disappointed that it was way more Bad Boys than it was The Shield.

Still, I did have fun enouh with it that I did play through it twice, once on release and then again a couple years later.

Might honestly go through it a third time and grab all single player achievements

This weekend I'm basically just gonna continue playing Octopath Traveler II since I'm like halfway through it(at around 48 hours of playtime) and I'm pretty much fully locked in at this point.

Have used Premium for a while now and it's a great tier for my needs.

I will dedicate this weekend to playing Octopath Traveler II and Pokémon LeafGreen on Switch but I will most likely also play more DOOM 3 on Series X alongside Romeo is a Dead Man and Asura's Wrath.

Won't be playing anything on PS5 until Crimson Desert arrives, at which point I will be focusing on playing that.
