There's also a report doing the rounds today that due to console price increases, both Xbox and PlayStation suffered notably poor unit sales across the US in May.
Hardware - PlayStation hardware unit sales fell to their lowest May total since May 2000, while Xbox hardware unit sales were the lowest ever recorded for a May month.

With that in mind, we thought we'd take this opportunity to ask you about the price you paid for your Xbox Series X and/or Xbox Series S console. We're living in weird times where these two systems have consistently risen in cost over the past six years , so being there on day one was actually a great call if you managed it!
Here are the multiple polls that you can vote in if you're interested:

Of course, some of these prices might seem a little crazy, but you never know how much people might be paying for a console. Perhaps you got really lucky and snagged an Xbox Series X off Facebook Marketplace for under $100? Perhaps you paid over the odds without realising how much an Xbox Series S actually retailed for?
Whatever the case may be, we'd love to hear about your purchasing history for the latest generation of Xbox consoles down below, as well as whether you'd still have bought one based on the new price increases. Come tell us!
