Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 7-8)

Welcome to another weekend! We've got some bits and pieces we want to try out over the next few days, and it's been another busy time on Xbox Game Pass recently, giving us plenty to play right now.

So, here's what we're playing this weekend:

Ben Kerry, Staff Writer

I haven't played an F1 game in donkeys' years - and with F1 25 entering EA Play / Xbox Game Pass and the new F1 season starting up this weekend, I might have to give Codemasters' latest a whirl. I hear they've been continuously building on this series over the years, so I'm excited to check it out and see what's changed since I last played it in maybe 2012!

Other than that, I've stared another playthrough of Resident Evil 2 after blasting through Requiem - which I'll get back to this weekend once the sun goes down. I've opted for a new Leon run this time around and man, this game is just so, so good. An all-timer for survival horror games, for sure.

Have a nice weekend, folks.

Our new Sunday backwards compatible features seem to be getting good feedback at the moment, so I'm trying to figure out what to dive into next. Kameo: Elements of Power, maybe? How about Lost Odyssey? I'm all ears — give me some suggestions, and perhaps we'll get a chance to highlight them on Pure Xbox in the near future.

When I'm not sampling backwards compatibility games, I'm probably going to be spending most time with my ROG Xbox Ally X. I downloaded the demo for Tiny Bookshop on there last week and have convinced myself to buy it already (it needs an Xbox version ASAP!), and there are plenty more indie games on Steam I want to check out.

Have a great weekend, folks!
