Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 27-28)

I picked up the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition so will work my way through this. Also I am going back to the original Forza Horizon 1 that I still have on the original Xbox 360 disc. Surprisingly it got a native 4K update on Xbox One X when I had it a while ago and still looks ok.

On our way home after a family trip, which was awesome. Brought the Portal and managed to play a little (as usual, I have to say its an amazing little streaming device, with the added options to stream ps plus games or many of the games in your library directly its even better than before 🙂).

After playing Mixtape, which I loved, I wanted to try Beethoven & Dinosours previous game;
The Artful Escape - which is trying to put it simple a sidescrolling game about a teenage boy with a guitar going off on a spaced out adventure. Imo it wasnt as good as Mixtape but I still really enjoyed the game, or experience rather and I'm pretty impressed by the developers imagination. Its also short and sweet at around 3-4 hours which meant it didnt overstay its welcome. (Do check the game out before eventually buying it, its not for everyone). Great game to play on the Portal too 🙂

I'll be on a couple games this weekend I'm playing red dead undead nightmare and started another playthrough of red dead 2 I'll also be on the amazing Forza horizon 6 and a bit of eafc 26 career mode with my roma team!

I picked up the Onimusha 1 + 2 pack in the Capcom sale, so churning through the first one again. I haven't played this game since the PS2 days and it's bringing back old memories. I'm looking forward to Way of the Sword later this year, too.

Having completed Bond this week I'm trying to get through some of my backlog so will be mixing it up with Yotei, Sonic Superstars and might load up GTA 5 for the lols

This weekend I'm continuing FFX aswell as my MOTORSLICE playthrough(very fitting game to play currently as it's pretty warm over here), don't think I'll have the energy to play anything else this weekend so when I'm not playing those two games, I will probably just be on Youtube, watching my usual stuff.

Still doing maps in Path of Exile 2 well at least when I am not melting into a puddle of sweat. Not really been playing much this past week its just been too hot.

Will also be keeping an eye on the Spa 24 hour race that gets going later this afternoon which promises some good racing. Hopefully it cools down or it will be pretty brutal on the drivers.

I started Star Fox today. The last time I played a Star Fox game was the original on SNES. It is great fun.

Also just downloaded Detroit Become Human from Steam to play on the ROG Xbox Ally X. I loved this on PS4.

And Forza Horizon 6. The first time I've been fully engrossed in a Horizon game.

Pragmata and FH6 series x this weekend.

Decided to take a punt on the Gothic Remake. After a couple of challenging hours, I’m getting better at the basics and really getting into it. The difficulty is going to put some people off, but just slow down and pay attention to everything from enemy habits to dialogue to navigation. Progression is incredibly rewarding.

Playing on 30FPS FTW because 60 and uncapped are not nearly fluid enough IMO. 30 is actually pretty decent.

After Fable and Fable II, Fable III. I'm pleasantly surprised with the third being 4K and 60fps on Series X.

Some Forza Horizon as well.
