Can't believe there are people who still want these guys in the gaming space. I was a big xbox fan since day 1. This last 12 months or so...I cant stand them. They've done what I thought wouldn't ever be done. Turned me completely off of their console and also them as a whole in the gaming sector.

Most likely starfield. What else is there to port at this point? I dont see halo being ported until the reboot.

The list is looking less and less exciting to me.

Best game shown imo. Clockwork looks cool but keeper looked like a breath of fresh air from all the RPGs that get released

Still pushing through expedition 33. In Act 2 right now and the game is really good. However I dont think I'm taking full advantage of all the systems the game has in place. I never really change my pictose and dont understand lumina haha. Im just rolling with the punches.

Also tried Tony hawk 3+4. Back in the day I was able to pull off insane combos and grind forever...today I'm lucky if I can pull off an Ollie without eating sh**

2 years and yet they still dont have all the games "day 1" on the service

Still on expedition 33 and still having a blast with it. I thought about starting Lost in Random The Eternal Die as well, but we'll see

@Ricky-Spanish because of scalebound. They put real stuff in and it looked awful, feedback was bad and within the month after showing it, it was canned

@Ricky-Spanish how are you liking the gears beta? Im a huge gears fan and play a ton of multiplayer and I gotta say....it is utter s**t lol. Hit detection is awful, boomshot better be a direct hit or it does like no damage. I know "this is gears" but after thousands of hours into gears 3, 4, 5...this is not the gears I have come to know. The inconsistent gnasher has put me off and I'll probably skip this one. I hope gears e-day returns to more recent gears in terms of fluidity and consistency in weapons!

@dskatter one is a first party title (not expected to be on other platforms, until recently for MS) the other third party with no reason not to be everywhere day 1

But i do see your point and honestly the real reason is likely because xbox players dont really play FF all that much. If I was square I probably wouldn't release it on xbox either haha

Playing expedition 33. Great game and will make good progress this weekend. Also played some matches of gears beta yesterday and will play more today. I was rusty (it's been a few years) but it all started coming back after around the third match

I beat about a game a month on gamepass (I'm slow). Gamepass costs me $20 a month. So in 3 months I spend $60.00 to beat three games that are potentially worth a combined $180 -$200. Even with a small price increase I'm saving a ton of money

Just started but love the parry and dodge increase lol. I just perfect dodged 3 times in a row after a couple drinks and thought I was superman...apparently it was a patch

Keeper looks really good. Probably my favorite of the 3, followed by ninja gaiden. I honestly dont get the hype of outer worlds. It was fun but pretty average in my opinion. I'll definitely check it out though.

No Fable, no perfect dark, no forza, no ever wild, no state of decay 3, no Ninja theory, no O.D. Pretty poor performance in my opinion but keeper and clockwork look cool.

@FarmDog08 yeah I'm loving it so far. Only in Act 1 but I'm going to savor every moment. I can tell this when will have its claws in me for a bit

I finished South Of Midnight. I wanted to stop around ch. 7 but my ocd made me see it to the end. Once ive invested time like that in a game it's hard to convince myself to not just power through.

So I'll either be starting Doom or Expedition 33, looking forward to both

What didnt make sense to me is to partner with ASUS ROG ally for an xbox handheld then make one of your own a year and a half later. Are you trying to compete with yourself?

Humanity is a fun little puzzler if anyone is into that type of game.

Well, I hate myself. On Chapter 11 of south of midnight and I now feel I have to finish it. I know if I play something else I'll never go back.

The game was okay, but quickly dropped off for me. Very repetitive, very bad combat, very cool story.

I have games like Doom, Clair Obscure, and Oblivios remastered downloaded but here we are....south of midnight it is.

@bensondog every company's goal is to make a profit every year...not break even. You are in the minority with that logic (seen by the record profit numbers) so I'm sure they are okay bensondog from pure xbox is boycotting them

@GoldenPants thanks! That's what i am torn on, I really find the combat a chore, and even getting tired of the repetitive platforming. But I know if I dont finish it now I'll never go back (which I'm okay with) but I just have to commit to one or the other. I really want to check out Doom and expedition 33 and since my gaming time is limited, looks like I'll be shelving SoM.

@gollumb82 I'm on chapter 7 in south of midnight and thinking of shelving it for a while as well. Too many other games I'm interested in that seem more up my ally

@Ricky-Spanish agreed. Gears 3 multi-player was the best! I spent a lot of time with that one, the maps were great too.

Still trying to finish South of Midnight. I'm on Chapter 7... I'm so slow at completing games now it's crazy. I might not finish it though, while it's a cool game, it's getting a little stale. Just waiting for Doom at this point

@fatpunkslim ? Doom and oblivion remake both launch day 1. I can guarantee having exclusives (even timed) will be super rare for MS going forward. Most games will be day 1. Outer Worlds 2 is another.

Dredge looks really cool. Never heard of it but just watched the trailer. Definitely be on Doom though as well

@Ricky-Spanish i just beat Doom 2016 about a month ago for the first time and it holds up really well. I also had a hard time getting into them when they first came out but this last attempt I thoroughly enjoyed it. Probably won't play Eternal but 2016 was worth it to me. Not very long of a game either (about 11 hours probably start to finish)

Game looks cool. Reminds me Rainbow Six when they made campaigns and terrorist hunt

@Millionski i think it'll have decent support for about 2 - 3 years. Then ps6 and next xbox will come out and devs aren't going to want to support those specs. This is exactly what happened with switch 1, despite 100+ million sales. Specs matter in the end. Even the series s almost missed out on some games because of its specs. Also the value of gamepass versus spending 80 dollars on first party games will go a long way in people deciding what to do.

The series S did come out 5 years ago, while this is just now coming out for Nintendo. I'd hope it could compete with the weakest console on the market

Gears of war would be awesome as an action/horror movie (or show).

I should probably play through lords of fallen before it goes. I beat the one from 2014 and thought it was pretty good.

I'm still on 33 Immortals. Not because I'm necessarily enjoying it anymore, more of i really can only play 1 game at a time and don't want to start anything that I won't be able to finish before South of Midnight drops (I didn't pay for early access). So I'm just mindlessly running the dungeons to kill the time

@Fiendish-Beaver yep. The last two months will see 17 games leave the service, with maybe half of that coming on new (at least to ultimate members).I think they are just going to lean heavily into this being primarily a first party subscription. I do look forward to the upcoming games though like clair 33 and of course silksong!

@Medic_alert tThat's how I felt. Very clunky for me. Coming off of Doom and a few others, I could not get used to how clunky and awkward controlling the character felt. Stopped after about 20 minutes.

Since it's release on GP I've been playing 33 Immortals. Really fun game...but, with only 2 maps released so far and after you play each one 20 or so times, it gets a little boring. Unfortunately I think lack of content will cause this game to be shortlived, the third map isn't expected until end of 2025. The game itself is really fun and well made.

I will probably switch to stalker 2 this weekend as I never started it and after several patches think it's in a much better place
