Welcome to the new week! You may have seen recently that we've been experimenting with a new format where we highlight all the new Xbox releases each day along with any Game Pass titles, and we'll probably continue with this over the next few days - but we also wanted to give the Game Pass additions their own article to kick things off.
As things stand, we have three games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass during the days of September 8th to 10th, with two of them being major additions and another being a day one indie release in the form of The Royal Writ.
The one that will perhaps get most people's attention is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, but don't forget about Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage either, as that game only released less than a year ago for Xbox Series X and S.
For anyone wondering, there are no brand-new Xbox releases scheduled to arrive on the day of this article's publication (Monday), but we'll have lots more to talk about from Tuesday to Friday.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Ultimate, PC, Premium (September 8)
