Talking Point: Which Xbox Games Have You Managed To Finish In 2025?

So, with Christmas out the way and just a few days left of 2025 to go, we thought this would be a good opportunity to ask about the games you've played this year - and more specifically the games you've managed to finish.

It's not uncommon for many of us to play tens if not hundreds of games without finishing them in a calendar year, especially in modern times with the likes of Xbox Game Pass offering up new titles to check out on a monthly basis.

Therefore, we'd argue that finishing games is more of an accomplishment than ever now! We've seen some amazing titles that have deserved your attention over the past 12 months as well; Split Fiction, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33: Hollow Knight: Silksong, DOOM: The Dark Ages, Blue Prince and Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, just to name a few.

Personally, I can't say I've finished that many games in 2025 - with a role like this, it's important to sample as much as possible, and therefore I try not to spend too many hours stuck on one title. Reviews are a nice exception to the rule though, and both Despelote and Split Fiction stick out for me, with the latter containing potentially the best ending sequence of any game since The Walking Dead: Season One in my opinion!

There's every chance you like to play multiplayer games more than single-player games, of course, and those often can't be "finished" in the traditional sense. That's absolutely fine too - and be sure to let us know about those in the comments down below as well.

So, let's hear from you! Come and discuss this topic with us in the comments section.
