Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (November 22-23)

hello fellow gamers and good morning 🌅

this week I stopped playing Diablo IV: I'm well beyond 300h on Steam, not counting the time on Xbox and Playstation; yes I'm ashamed.

then I discovered an amazing game DeadZone Rogue a FPS with rogue-lite elements. it should be on Xbox too. you can play alone or with friends in co-op.

finally I bought Eternal Strands on Steam, a game that I recommend to everyone and should be supported: it's a lovely action-adventure title.

I picked up the GTA trilogy recently so I'll be playing vice city for the best part of the weekend!
Such a good upgrade now it's been updated properly really going to enjoy playing though these games again after so long!
I'll probably try finish off the cod campaign aswell and forget totally about the game it's pretty bad in every department!

Infinite Wealth all the way through the weekend and the weeks to come.

I am trying to figure out how to make trains run efficiently in Satisfactory and working on completing my current phase tasks.

I am also playing Sacred 2, the Xbox 360 version not the recently released Remaster (I tried it but it was so bad it became the first game I ever refunded on Xbox. Wonky I can put up with but constant crashes I wont tolerate.)

Speaking of wonky I am also considering restarting my current Stalker 2 play through so I can try to complete a full master difficulty run which was added in the 1.7 patch.

I think those 3 games will keep me busy well into the New Year.

yeah, I read Sacred 2 Remaster is pretty bad even on PC.
I'm sorry: I have fond memories about that game albeit blurred.

@Titntin Good choice of games! Unicorn Overlord was one of my favourites from last year and BallxPit is addictive as sin!

Alan Wake 2 - finished and platinumed! I'm very happy with myself that I decided to play this even though horror/scary games are really not my thing anymore 😅 Ended up really, really enjoying this game! Almost started a new game plus immediately after finishing (you'll get why) but decided that would take to long and my curiousity was killing me so I watched some YouTube videos instead 🙂 Very well written story imo!

Thank goodness youre here - been waiting for this to drop on plus, so very happy it finally did! Its brilliant, so fun and so worth a playthrough. Finished and platinumed in about 3 hours maybe, brilliant game 😃

The Crew Motorfest - so I left it with some trophies unpopped, one was an online trophy and it was a bit of a pain finding games and more importantly filling them with enough players as the trophy requires you to destroy three opponents in one game but with the game being on Gamepass there was suddenly new players so I finally got that trophy and then the platinum, so that was nice! Very good game imo!

Dying light: the Beast - picked it up in the sale. Loved the first but not the second so was a bit hesitant about this until I watched TheRadBrad play it on YT praising it and saying it was a lot more like the first game than the second. I'm only like 1-2 hours in but is seems very promising so far 🙂

Angry Birds Classic (Windows Phone) - Still clearing more levels here as well.

@Pigrotto Sacred 2 was always a bit wonky but that was part of its charm so I was prepared for that.

Crashes not so much & its not like they were niche cases either, talk to shop npc in 1st town- Crash, look at inventory - Crash with many other cases of just playing normally making it crash.

Its a shame because it genuinely looks much better, when its not crashing runs well & I was looking forward to playing it. Maybe if they patch it I might buy it in a future sale on a deep discount but yeah shouldn't have been released in this state.

Picked up Shadow Labyrinth and the Tomb Raider remastered collection in the black Friday sale so I'll be putting some time into those, and Cloverpit on gamepass which is ridiculously addictive! Have a good weekend

Prince of persia: the lost crown. I love metroidvanias and since silksong just wasn't working for me I needed to find a new fix. I've heard great things about it so was happy when I heard it was coming to gamepass.

I should note silksong seems to be a great game and i may go back. Just a little too frustrating for me in terms of the platforming and long runbacks to bosses after dying for the twentieth time.

For sure some more Ocarina of Time as thats something I love to play in November around Thanksgiving.

On Xbox im playing RDR2 which, is ok i guess. Hasn't gotten its hooks in me yet after 8-9 hrs.

I may go and buy robocop unfinished business and fallout 3 or NV though.

Trying to finish up my Gears Reloaded hardcore playthrough but I'm struggling with beating Raam doesn't help that Doms ai is utter ***** can't believe they still haven't fixed it. I'm going to continue with Where Winds Meet I'm enjoying it but honestly dont have a clue what half the stuff I'm looting is even for and the menus are a mess. I also just bought the Master Chief collection for £7.49 with rewards so I'll be playing that later on.

Honestly I'm between games, not sure what to give my full attention to.
Tried a little of Clover Pit which is pretty fun.
I've also tried the Star Trek game which kinda like a Telltale one. Resurgence I think? It's fun.
But nothing really hooked me so far. It's a me problem, not the games though.
I'll keep trying and see what happens.

Arc Raiders. I am addicted!

More Jurassic World Evo 3 on Series X. A very engrossing game - the different parks in the campaign all provide different challenges, but I’m now onto the last one, so I should soon find out who has been sabotaging my parks. I have a strong suspicion…

Just got a Series X, I going to use it to play all those games that don't run very well on my PC, but right now I'm going to try and finish Octopath Traveler before it leaves Game Pass

Being that I love horror games, I’m playing Silent Hill 2 remake this weekend.

Still playing Dwarf Survivors… have 101/300 achievements now… crashes a lot but sticking with it. I am liking Clover Pit 10/30 achievements. Maybe try Ballxpit. Have fun!

Finished Mass Effect 3. The combat is more interesting than 2 but there is zero exploration and nonlinearity. ME1 is still the most compelling in the series for me.

Finished Tails of Iron. Very solid 2D soulslike combat with a monotonous backtrack-heavy game structure.

A friend talked me into playing Arc Raiders. I haven't liked online gaming in about 15 years. After playing for about 6 hours, I just don't get it. Go out, collect loot to sell or upgrade or manufacture weapons, take said weapons on next outing, get killed in PvP by way higher level squads, lose everything. Start over again. Welp, it's back to single player games for me. Good thing it was only $40.

Toal Chaos, BF6, Arc Raiders, and some BOPS7. I also tried Absolum.

@AlwaysPlaying 98 achievements deep on this. Very addictive but time consuming. Enjoying it tho.. rock and stone

@Blastfemur This is exactly why I haven’t picked it up. Sounds like my experience with every extraction shooter to date.

Silent Hill 2 and it was a nice

I purchased The Crew Motorfest earlier... dropped from £70 down to £14.99 so will get into that later. I've been playing Batman Arkham Knight and BF6.
