Xbox Finishes Off The Week With Two New Game Pass Reveals, Both For Next Month

We've been kind of waiting for Xbox to give us some release dates for early 2026 when it comes to Xbox Game Pass — until this week, we only had two of them — and now we've finally got our first couple of next month.

These two games are MIO: Memories in Orbit, which was revealed at the PC Gaming Show last night, and the PC Game Pass title Nova Roma. The former is a "mesmerizing metroidvania", while the latter is a Rome-based city-builder.

If you're interested, MIO: Memories in Orbit already has a free demo on the Xbox Store:

Of course, there's a lot more to come for Xbox Game Pass in the weeks ahead, but apparently there won't be a formal roundup until we reach 2026. Therefore, we're having to make-do with individual reveals for each title until then.

In other words, don't go thinking this is the full selection for next month by any means!

For what it's worth, here's what Xbox Game Pass in 2026 is looking like so far:

And now, let's take a look at more information on both of these upcoming Game Pass titles:

MIO: Memories In Orbit - Console, PC (January 20, 2026)

Play as android MIO in this mesmerizing metroidvania where you explore the Vessel, an enormous technological ark overgrown with machines gone rogue. Uncover its secrets, enhance MIO's abilities, and save the spaceship and its residents from oblivion.

Nova Roma - PC (January 22, 2026)

The glory of Rome is at your fingertips in this city-building game where you must appease the gods, enact laws, and develop complex supply chains to meet the needs of your citizens.
