It seems like since the xbox showcase they have drastically cut back on the amount of games coming and the quality. Could just be my taste though. I guess they thought putting MW3 on there was gonna coast them until black ops

I think I'll check out the back ops 6 beta. Otherwise I'll also start diablo 4. Haven't played it yet so will be starting from the beginning. I figured with dlc coming nows a good time to start a character.

@Realist what did you expect it to show? Showed some gameplay reels, kill streaks, and maps. It's a trailer, not a state of play.

I was hoping for Prince of Persia or assassins creed mirage.

@Feffster how is AoE4 on a controller? I love RTS and have been thinking about trying it on my xbox. Do you play against people with mouse and keyboard and does it seem work okay fairness wise?

I thought they said "when looking at games to bring to playstation we looked at games that were over a year old, and/or small passion projects that made sense". They need to stop talking cause within months they just end up reversing whatever they say.

Forza, halo, and gears are pretty much what defined xbox for the better part of a decade. I have a feeling the others will follow suit at some point. Great game though! Love the forza series

@GuyinPA75 yeah it's still pretty popular. They've added a few new maps and killers/survivors. I have played since day 1 and still play occasionally

@Burnfeeling I specifically said xbox exclusive. You added in a 3rd to fit your narrative. Sorry I dont celebrate dlc as new releases. You can keep making excuses for them. I expect a little better

So this year is hellblade and indy. 2 exclusives with about 40 studios. I'm all about giving games time but this is another drought year for xbox. At some point you gotta question their ability to manage this many studios.

MW III for me. I've been wanting to play a multiplayer shooter for a while and it's nice to just play a few matches and be done for a bit. I think I was getting open world fatigue and needed something different for a while.

@themightyant but it's also the newest franchise, less than a year old. Those others have been out for years.

Took about a week break from jedi survivor because I was getting a bit bored but think I might jump in and finish it. I feel like I've gotta be near the end

Going to start Forza Horizon 5. Played the others but never got around to this one.

If they can get on a consistent schedule of releasing quality games every quarter and continue to get 3rd party support for gamepass the brand has a good chance. But xbox sales are extremely low. They really need to give people a solid reason to buy an Xbox (exclusives would do that). Despite all their studios, the first party games are slow to come out. Hopefully that changes beginning this fall. I much prefer to game on my xbox then anything else so I hope all works out!

Jedi survivor, I might shelve this. It is a great game but I've played so many games recently like this lately that I think I'm getting open world fatigue, even though I know I could just jam out the main quest I can't help but explore every little nook and cranny and side quests that I'm burnt out. Need a palate cleanser after this for sure. Any suggestions?

@WhiteRabbit I know and i believe it does have to do with their own parity clause like baldera gate 3.
I just was meaning why are they saying "we can't talk about the deals are partners make" then in reference to this game? Like if their is a deal in place just say it...what are they gonna do?

I really never understood why people can't just say what the problem is. Like just come out and say "Sony paid for timed exclusivity" if it is the case. What are they gonna do? Sue them?

Still wakes the deep, and I still have a ton of gamepass backlog games. Lies of P, Lords of the Fallen, Far Cry 6, Diablo 4 and the list goes on.

Thinking about getting back into Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I played it a lot when it came out but stopped for a while. Looks like they've added new maps and characters the past couple months.

I'll definitely be checking this out. I've beaten all the others so as long as it is fun, that's all I care about.

Every time they said world premiere I did a small prayer that it would be gears lol. The other games looked fantastic though. I kinda thought Gears would be something they'd close out with, like dropping the mic after such a good showcase as they walk off stage. Happy with the direction they're going.

Honestly surprised they are still updating For Honor 8 years later. Didn't think it had a big enough player base after all these years to justify the dev cost. I played it for the first 6 months or so, it was cool, but I eventually moved on.

Did they officially cancel beyond good and evil 2?

That showcase was insane. So many awesome games. Probably one of the best I've seen in years from any of the big 3. Congrats MS and well deserved

Got kind of hooked on Humanity. Great little puzzler for those who like puzzle games. Also still playing Jedi Survivor and can't wait for tomorrow's showcase. Hoping for some updates and new reveals (especially Gears of War!)

A new bioshock would be amazing. I know the old devs are working on Judas which looks like a spiritual successor but I still would love a bioshock 4.

Damn, I don't have time for all this. Between finishing Jedi Survivor, then lords of the fallen, still wanting to play lies of p, ...and now octopath traveler 2 and callisto. I'm screwed.

I'm confused, are they saying 1 - 2 hours to beat the game and get 1000g? Cause there's no way for some of these.

@Fiendish-Beaver I kind of thought with the new leadership roles (Sarah bond, Matt booty) they are the new mouth pieces for Xbox. While everyone still ultimately turns to Phil cause that's what we are used to and he his generally likable by the public, I don't think that he is the main PR guy anymore. I know he will still make appearances but not as much as we are used to given the role changes.

Continuing Jedi Survivor, and really liking it. Maybe some matches of XDefiant as well.

I'll definitely be checking it out since I'm paying for gamepass anyways. I haven't bought a COD since black ops 2, but if they're giving it as part of my subscription ill play it for a few weeks. Black ops was my favorite series.

@brettvsgodzilla lol yeah I literally skipped every dialogue/cut scene. I really liked slaying zombies but the voices and characters annoyed me. I have no idea what the game was about but I beat it

Started Jedi Survivor. Really liking it so far, and I like how much from fallen order transferred to this one (I had very little trouble remembering all the traversal and combat moves)

@Romans12 yeah I played it for about 2 hours and shelved it. Awesome looking game but couldn't get into it gameplay wise.

Ranked is only 4v4? Didn't realize that. I need to tweak my controller settings I think cause my aim isn't what it used to be, I was like 6ft away from a guy and unloaded my gun on him...not a single bullet hit

It just depends how reasonable the play time would take to unlock the content. I get its free to play and they gotta somehow recoup money though

Finally finished dead island 2. Either going to start Jedi Survivor or find a multiplayer game. I've been wanting to play a competitive fps lately, it's been a while.
