PS longtime fanbase are much more Acton/rpg driven than shooter fans
It's why we have not had Killzone esque games in a long time.

@Mr-Cage With what Asha said about Minecraft, this might go all together if THEY ACTUALLY MARKET IT- I think you could sell this along with Minecraft and it may do really well.

They definitely need to go after a different market with this, but it could work.

I think advertising it with AAA games won't move numbers

Got MCC, Halo is still playable but pretty early 2000's gameplay wise and it sours the experience

I do exactly the same thing, I'd bet it's fairly common practice as well.
I'll do the same thing if I buy something digital for " reasons", and I'll usually camp out the physical copy for cheap.

It's a hobby I've done for the last 38 years, and I enjoy seeing it displayed- so many great memories/experiences sitting on those shelves

I missed out on PSVR1, and after the sheer video game joy I get from PSVR2, kinda bummed they didn't port it to VR2.

I'LL still gladly take this version though

PC Gamer/Pushsquare both had articles hoping a Switch2 release might lead to updated patches

I was super excited because this was my 1st dive into Xbox with the Series X, I had a credit card deal that got me it for $498(US tax for me is 10% so I saved more than $50) at Best Buy when it was a mad scramble to get one during the release with Covid.

So many great exclusives,Starfield, Halo, Forza and finally got to play Gears.
Redfall was at the time a dream game too

Still love the X, but holy crap what bizzare generation Xbox has had, been boxed up for almost a year

This does look fairly decent, kinda weird to see Gamefreak make a game that looks, so far, fleshed out and graphically not bad ha.

Miss some simple and fun Japanese hack and slash that and Souls likes/ lights

With EDay and this, things are looking like Xbox will be a good time this fall/ winter

Boy I hope Gamestop/EB Games don't have a marketing deal in place with 2K....

Talk about shutting down the resale market with 1 behemoth of a game.

The price trickle down doesn't bother me, killing physical resale in one fell swoop does

1st off, comparing prices to a steam machine needs at least 6 *asterisks....
Valve is staunch in refusing to subsidize anything.
*They are also not getting near discounts on hardware or production the big 3 would get, maybe selling 6-7 million at the high end vs 40-100 million for the big three

None of these are respected analysts, and VGC was laughed out of the building years ago

Alinea also reported low numbers for Xbox to PS5 ports- They make up numbers with an AI algorithm.......

@Banjo- ?? Yes Krafton came in and saved the studio, and Xbox helped Krafton with the transition.

This wasn't a straight purchase, Xbox was closing Tango until Krafton came along.

I've reached my breaking point witth Bethesda as well, I will only buy used.
I will not give them another cent, the disgusting response to players when Starfield 1st released- the demeaning of their player base was a low low.

Shadow dropping Oblivion because they knew it was a mess was a cheap shot.

Releasing Starfield on PS5 as a crashing ***** show.....

***** Bethesda, they lit any trust on fire
