@Millionski How did i forget that ha ha, those prices are just as fantastically stupid.

I think if they can undercut don't buy that much with GTA around the corner it would be a nice sales boost

I still get emails from all the big suppliers listing Series X, because I still browse the games.

680 dollars US, with average 9% tax is almost 750- That is complete insanity- i paid less for my PS5 pro by 50$

WITHOUT RESERVATIONS THEY HAVE TO DROP THE PRICE

I am a huge fan of the new direction, not sold yet because exclusives are what made me buy an Xbox

It's been pretty fun to see the transition in leadership and said approaches to PR.
Phil was pretty good at this too for awhile.
It's just really shiny PR babble

I loved the Xbox UI, so much smoother than PS.
Controllers are just junk though, they just feel and sound cheap.

I got it back out for the Starfield update, and .........boxed it back up.

-I can just play all this stuff on PS
( except for XB fantastic backpat games)

Xbox lost the initiative when they stopped exclusives- Why invest in a different ecosystem when I can keep it centralized on PS.

Will be interesting to see where this all leads

I can't help but wonder if Sarah was really bad at her job, or out of her depth maybe?

There has been a very considerable change in Xbox's PR, and it's not just at face value either, tangible changes.

Hmmmm🤔

I absolutely loathe Bethesda sometimes....

I was seeking to give it a second chance because it was a shallow, dull and just not a very good game day 1 on Series X.
With all the updates, and some new toys( oled, PS5 Pro) and a low entry point....

Of course they released broken ***** again

Looks like a rejected 1990's Taco Bell color scheme

Who are they consulting for these designs????????

Japan.... You have all of Japanese culture to work worth and this is the end result?????????

Dang it that sounds absolutely spectacular...

I'd love to see Shadow dev Monolith give it go to, shame they were shutdown....

To be able to play in that universe...... one can dream

@Brigurugi I had the action figures in the 80's.
If we get a full 3rd person action adventure He-Man take, my childhood has officially come full circle.

Still kills me i don't know what happened to all my action figures, would be sitting on a mountain of collectibles

I can't wait for this, sounds awesome !

Stalker 2 updates followed by a new Metro?

Hell yes!

@FraserG Ah, wondered if I should just install the PC app.

Don't know how ya'll juggle the two sites, but I always check in a few times a day-

Love the hard work, great site!

Cheers

For the life of me I can't figure out where to find " Offers and Credits" on mobile - xbox app/ Xbox store or Microsoft store

REEAAALLLY certain I didn't get anything but still can't find that tab

@Decimateh
I've played every Call of Duty and I just couldn't enjoy this game.

It checked all the boxes, but badly. Thought about going back for years to finish the campaign and...I just can't

@Banjo- Gotta say he's persistent in his beliefs..
Also Xbox has sailed the ship on full disc releases, I'm not thrilled about it but an okay if they at least use most of the disk space but they like their 18mb disc releases

@Fiendish-Beaver

"the ability to hide games that I either own, or have no desire to own, in the Xbox Store sales."

Oh this would be legendary!!!
and then PS could borrow the idea and do it too.

I'm in a similar boat, I already own nearly everything i want but enjoy perusing the store and have found plenty of games I've never heard of.

The pain of scrolling through hundreds of titles I own or flat out don't want usually ends with me just closing out early.

Great shout out

@Fiendish-Beaver Without strict requirements for suggestions, I don't think a dedicated forum works.

It attracts the flies of internet debauchery and you'd have a cess pool in no time.

Probably easier to tag trending social media posts that get attention and weed from there.

Gotta admit, much more a fan of her than Sarah

Glad people are enjoying it!

Man the game that almost was, had hope this might bring me back.

Actually really cool of Xbox, talk about going the extra mile

Genuinely curious how this will play out. I think it will really say a lot to the current state of Bethesda if this update doesn't move the needle

Just here to triple- down on Guardians of the Galaxy being an all timer.

Absolutely terrific game!!!

The writing and voice acting are really really good, the set pieces are unique and the combat system, all though the weakest part is still pretty good

@FarmDog08 Awesome recommendation, had me at turn based.
Thank you, genuinely don't remember this one from the old console wars so I would have missed it

Long shot:
I've still got about 50US sitting in my account.
Anyone recommend some backpat games/ gems from 360/X1 era a longtime PS only fan might have missed out on/I know about Frasers lists on occasion

Thanks in advance

Wow, I'd forgotten about this mode, think I put quite a few hours into it.

Genuinely really fun

Great article!

FINALLY started KCD1 after the update, holy hell I wish I would have stuck it out sooner. So freaking good, and now I've got KCDII waiting for me down the road.

I think I might have Kickstarted this game years ago and kind of forgot

Glad I did!

It was a little surreal to box my Series X up, it was pretty exciting and a fun closed unique ecosystem.

Really cool intro to being part of Xbox at the beginning of this gen.
So many great exclusive games...oh
The rewards program is so good.... oh
BC machine, it's great- still true

I have no reason to take it back out, yet.
Seeing as how MS can't tell me what the plan is for Xbox- no not optimistic

This game was an absolutely fantastic play through!

Killer price and so worth it

@Banjo- I was just joking, I was knew it was late in the UK and the news on Phil had just come out.

Sometimes it feels like that on Pushsquare, like T the Xbox fans spend too much time over there

Gotta love the console wars

What a terrible couple days for gaming....

Sombody aught to wake up the fellows at PureXbox....... missing all the fun

What the hell is going on??

Will that's really disappointing, Todd being blunt was a surreal moment in time....

Fun for abit, but ultimately a shallow empty shell of a game

I need to give this another go at some point.
Played it on GP release and....I hated it. I genuinely thought it was a terrible Doom.

Here's hoping they knock the DLC through and it's killer. Might go back to give it a second chance

This is......... just a pile of GAMES thrown into vague abstract lists....

Why does MS even bother anymore? Every thing they've done lately is terrible half-assed CRAP.

How the ***** do you make an awards list terrible???

@datamonkey Everyone has had that game where they think ' such gross pandering to land GAS money"
Horizon Hunters is that game for me, it looks like it was focus tested on Stock Brokers and the accounting department- Highly visible smooshed together popular genres....

Sorry, rant over

@FatGuyInLilCoat

Laughed out loud at that😆

Would have been a perfect time for the confused Farley gif too

@fatpunkslim
"the RPG depth in titles like Avowed or The Outer Worlds 2 is often very ambitious"

Oh boy....

In Avowed it is most certainly not..... not even close
OW2- I've read endless complaints regarding its very very narrow playthroughs,( have not played it)

Just because you spill bombastic word salads on These articles, that doesn't change anything

Ugh........... This is basically a laundry list of places I WOULD NEVER go to for a reliable review-

Interesting choices Fraser

I see the pearl clutching console wars are still alive and well......

I really thought we were past " insert bogus random inflated #'s"

Especially seeing as how tight fisted MS is with sales numbers, you folks confidently spouting this/ that= eye rolling absurdity

If i want frustrating rhythms, I'll just dig out the flamenco/ South American buffet of melt my brain and metronome music.
I will never understand how people enjoy these games

Neat premise though

Despite playing quite a few hours with my daughter, I never really enjoyed Minecraft.
This looks surprisingly well done, like it could be pretty fun
Excitedly to see how this turns out
Games like this are brilliant on SteamDeck and Rog like pc handheld

Such a strange state this game was released in, it's almost insultingly average.
I will say the magic and flintlocks were a lot of fun.
Everything else was so so sterile- it's great some folks have it GOTY, it was a HUGE disappointment for me

@Balaam_ pretty close to what i thought as well.

If Bethesda Studios is shadow dropping something..... it's to avoid early reviews saying don't buy it, it's busted

Avowed at #2?

That's kind of surprising to be honest....

Not a bad game, but shouldn't be anywhere near a top 10 list.

It honestly sucks voting such small numbers, at best 10%
2024 was almost all Xbox.

I just can't mentally get around the idea that buying on Xbox is an uncertain guarantee.

I'm curious as to why anyone thinks this will be anything other than a release on other consoles, with a small addition or two.

Bethesda the dev studio hasn't done anything right in 10 years

My god, if they shadow drop this on PS5 and Switch 2.................. before any reviews... and it's a broken mess

I might wash my hands off Bethesda Studios

This is why Todd's idea of MORE shadow drops is extremely discouraging- Bethesda taking the surprise and joy of a shadow drop and using it to mask FULL HALF ASSED realeases., that aren't reviewed and in the console realm there's no risk of mass returns

I LOATHE what Bethesda has become

@Smackosynthesis At this point, it might be a " new breed" , but by now hero shooters are all inbred/ all related and the offspring just come out worse....

Huge reason why I'm keeping my Series X, back compatibility rocks

Bizarre it took this long, especially with how bloatedly awful the web store is

Such a remarkably average game, offensively so.

It definitely deserved all the criticism, I'd have been livid if it cost me 60

Such a strange discourse around this one, at the same time I swear I saw 600,000+ reviews @4 stars on PSN for this- or it was a fever dream
