Talking Point: So, Are You Getting The Premium Upgrade For Halo: Campaign Evolved?

Definitely not going to pay extra to play this early maybe it's just me but without multiplayer this game seems to be a damp squib to me.
I've completed so many different versions of this game so the main interest I have for the game is in the couple new missions.
Hopefully they see sense and add a pvp multiplayer after launch.

Probably not something I am going to play let alone buy a premium edition of any sort.

I never pay for early access to a game, but I will definitely be excited to play it on Game Pass.

Early access pay days are basically a modern "marshmallow test" for adults. If you can hold off eating the marshmallow then you're much more likely to be successful elsewhere in life.

I'm going to be honest: I'm not a fan of Halo, especially the first one. I do love that soundtrack, though. I think it's the only reason I was ever able to get through the game. I am a bit curious about the improvements but might not bother touching this until(if) they do a full initial trilogy remake.

I did play all of them in the Master Chief collection. I do like Halo 2, mostly the Arbiter playable sections. I know Halo fans are obsessed with Master Chief, but it was exploring the other side that gave me any care for the series. Ironically I also really liked the highly controversial Halo 5 for the same reason.

I was so sad that Halo 3 never got the graphical upgrades 1 and 2 got in the MC collection, and even more so that you just play the whole campaign as Master Chief.

Not sure I’ll pick it up at all at this stage but if I do it’ll be the basic version.

If it wasn't on gamepass I'd not get it at all.

@Jeff_D Yup it's definitely a game for the playstation gamers without multiplayer it's pointless for an Xbox gamer

I’ll no doubt play on Gam Pass but since I’ve played the original, the remaster and the version on MCC I’m not in any rush. Definitely not paying £20 for five days early access, digital stuff which I’ll never look at, and character skins for a single-player game which surely can only be see in the cutscenes.

I’d like to play it early but I usually only get the upgrades when it includes major content like expansion DLCs that I would be buying later anyway. This just has frivolous stuff that I could care less about. So nope, not this time.

I pre-order the most expensive version only when it's a niche game I like and I know that the developer and the IP need the extra support, or when there's additional content that justifies the investment. Goodies are good, but sometimes they are not enough, especially if they are digital. I'd need a full soundtrack and a proper art book, at the very least.
