Been married 20 years, and she still looks at my gaming enjoyment with rolled eyes😄. Still a win though cause she never gives me grief when I no life a new game for 2weeks

I know the Starfield whining is a bit played out, but after doing 4 Temples it just killed my fun gosh they are terrible. So I bought FO4 on the Deck(runs great) and have been having a ton of fun. Also going to try and finish Bond 64 from Rares collection. Even my teenager said she wishes games would go back to just being fun without all the crazy graphics

I'm not sure why but I wasn't really impressed. It just didn't wow me for whatever reason like Horizon did.

I'm not sure if I just don't enjoy simracing games anymore or if this is just not that great

I'm sure it's nice to finally have it released, but it's painfully incomplete.
I've got over 100 hours into it and I enjoy it but I don't think it's anymore than a 7 personally.
There is just so so so much missing basic QOL, really bare bones menus, procedural generated poi's. Embarrassingly stilted writing and I'm a little bit sick of being sick invisible.......

Bulletstorm and Outriders are two of my most enjoyed games I've played, loved them both.
PeopleCanFly are seriously very talented, I'm excited!

I mean this was a HUGE reason I was so excited to snag a Series X when it 1st released, and it was worth it for Starfield alone for me. Was really bummed out with Halo and Redfall though, Halo SP was so cookie cutter average I didn't finish it. Redfall..............
I've loved my X though, PS5 has been ignored for a bit.
It's a great ecosystem, really is. Their marketing is borderline terrible

I often wonder if Gamemills business plan includes spending any money on their developers, or if they are forever going to contract everything out to Gilson B enterprises?

It boggles the mind to think what their ROI has been.
Didn't they get this for a billion...... one heck of a purchase

I truly hope, really truly hope this game is salvageable.
I don't know that I've ever been so bitter about a disastrous release. If you haven't read Steven King " Salems Lot", this game was what I dreamed that world world look like in video game form.
So insanely bummed out, hoping it gets a few more major patches

@tallythwack It's weird, there is almost, almost a really good game there. I know Covid is an exhausted excuse, but u can almost see the poorly glued seams that covid development caused.
I'm in that pool of- started at a7/10 got to a 9/10 and rounds out currently to a 7.5/10. There are just too many cracks in the foundation. I'll still play to it 300 hours, because it is fun

@theduckofdeath Maybe I'm biased and don't realize it, but reading all the sister sites, IGN, PC GAMER.... it sure seems like diehard xbox fans are a lot louder and spend more time worrying abouts PS fans, at least I seem to see posts like yours far more often.

We don't count Nindy fans because they're insane

Good game??? How so? I played it two weeks ago to break up the Starfield binging.
Even after the 1st patch I was beyond sad at how bad the game was. I'm hoping they do 1 more big patch.

I was really looking forward to Redfall, the premise sounded great. I figured I'd give them some time to iron out the rough release, just started it today.......... .... Oh my goodness is it bad, really bad ...I read all about this not being a passion product but this game is still a mess in SO MANY WAYS. I have to wonder if there is any talent left, any at all.

I'm about 12 hrs in, I think the initial wonder has worn off, the AI is bad, I went to explore the New Atlantis country side,my god the textures are so bad.Its jarring textures from my ship to the planet. The menus are beyond terrible, good grief they are bad. I'm really disappointed so far.
Bouncing on the moon was a blast!
7/10 right now.

So far it's been everything I could have hoped for, sucks that PS owners are missing out.
This game is why I bought my Series X 2 years ago and I've loved it, a huge fan of the ecosystem and its only getting better

The bonkers thing is that it's stayed around 70 for the physical copies.

I was pretty excited about the " Salems Lot, Far Cry" but everything I've read is that this game is still just not good.

Work has been a stressful nightmare, so I took a few minutes to read the Destructoid review. Oh my dear God..... It reads like it was written by a 16 year fanboy/girl. It's actually really bad.
Something tells me this is more of that 8.5-9 type of game which is exactly what I hoped for!

Destructoid giving this a 10 is a very good sign IF it had been Chris........ignore GS as usual.
IGN only giving a 7 is a tad concerning though, especially Dan who is pretty lenient......

@Kaloudz My memory had not held up very well, but I seem to recall Zenimax being a tad petty with outlets over the years and seemingly holding grudges.

You don't find it a little bit weird they would exclude an Xbox fan site?

I'm a diehard classical music/opera/jazz fan and so I was a tiny bit apprehensive, but it's actually well done. Not quite Dragonborn levels of wow, but not bad.

Sweet! I realize it's just good business 1st, but Todd Howard's thank yous actually come across as genuine. With how long he's been at this(which is rare, to stick with one company in this field) it does seem like true passion in his end

I think this is Ultimately the biggest driving factor, both sub models have peaked, and this is the only short term revenue model that will increase profits

My gosh, I still haven't played Hogwarts or RE 4, and Bethesda always takes 300-500 hours of my life. Still haven't purchased TOTK, Spiderman2 might really nail it too , 2077 expansion. This gaming hobby is killing it right now.

@Stoned_Patrol I truly don't get why MS and PS haven't done more special editions by now. The Series are such minimalist designs it should be easy to mass produce cool designs, and PS has a LOT of surface area. Kind of sucks

@Lup I actually had these in my Steam cart ready to go and forgot to buy them 🤦so was going to just grab them on Xbox, but the recent reviews are full of save corruptions, crashing and other issues.🤷

I can't recall a game I played that didn't have a mute option. I'll really never understand the hoopla with this.

I don't know why, but I can't see this as a modern game. It weirdly looks like a 360/PS3 game revved up to 1000.

I really hope it's good, but I swear that lady does intros for all the AAA letdowns-i seriously think she's video game doom

This is actually pretty cool, compared to PS new custom, which looks like a dozen 4yr Olds were given stickers and crayons and told to slap stuff anywhere

I know others have touched on it, but F.I.S.T. is really good. Especially if you have gamepass I think this is a must play. If you don't it's worth picking up full price
