I've reached my breaking point witth Bethesda as well, I will only buy used.
I will not give them another cent, the disgusting response to players when Starfield 1st released- the demeaning of their player base was a low low.

Shadow dropping Oblivion because they knew it was a mess was a cheap shot.

Releasing Starfield on PS5 as a crashing ***** show.....

***** Bethesda, they lit any trust on fire

I still get emails from all the big suppliers listing Series X, because I still browse the games.

680 dollars US, with average 9% tax is almost 750- That is complete insanity- i paid less for my PS5 pro by 50$

I am a huge fan of the new direction, not sold yet because exclusives are what made me buy an Xbox

It's been pretty fun to see the transition in leadership and said approaches to PR.
Phil was pretty good at this too for awhile.

I loved the Xbox UI, so much smoother than PS.
Controllers are just junk though, they just feel and sound cheap.

I got it back out for the Starfield update, and .........boxed it back up.

-I can just play all this stuff on PS
( except for XB fantastic backpat games)

Xbox lost the initiative when they stopped exclusives- Why invest in a different ecosystem when I can keep it centralized on PS.

Will be interesting to see where this all leads

If we get a full 3rd person action adventure He-Man take, my childhood has officially come full circle.

Still kills me i don't know what happened to all my action figures, would be sitting on a mountain of collectibles

I've played every Call of Duty and I just couldn't enjoy this game.

It checked all the boxes, but badly. Thought about going back for years to finish the campaign and...I just can't

Also Xbox has sailed the ship on full disc releases, I'm not thrilled about it but an okay if they at least use most of the disk space but they like their 18mb disc releases

I'm in a similar boat, I already own nearly everything i want but enjoy perusing the store and have found plenty of games I've never heard of.

The pain of scrolling through hundreds of titles I own or flat out don't want usually ends with me just closing out early.

It attracts the flies of internet debauchery and you'd have a cess pool in no time.

Absolutely terrific game!!!

The writing and voice acting are really really good, the set pieces are unique and the combat system, all though the weakest part is still pretty good

FINALLY started KCD1 after the update, holy hell I wish I would have stuck it out sooner. So freaking good, and now I've got KCDII waiting for me down the road.

OW2- I've read endless complaints regarding its very very narrow playthroughs,( have not played it)

Neat premise though

Despite playing quite a few hours with my daughter, I never really enjoyed Minecraft.
This looks surprisingly well done, like it could be pretty fun
Excitedly to see how this turns out
Games like this are brilliant on SteamDeck and Rog like pc handheld

Such a strange state this game was released in, it's almost insultingly average.
I will say the magic and flintlocks were a lot of fun.
Everything else was so so sterile- it's great some folks have it GOTY, it was a HUGE disappointment for me

That's kind of surprising to be honest....

Not a bad game, but shouldn't be anywhere near a top 10 list.

It honestly sucks voting such small numbers, at best 10%
2024 was almost all Xbox.

I just can't mentally get around the idea that buying on Xbox is an uncertain guarantee.

I'm curious as to why anyone thinks this will be anything other than a release on other consoles, with a small addition or two.

This is why Todd's idea of MORE shadow drops is extremely discouraging- Bethesda taking the surprise and joy of a shadow drop and using it to mask FULL HALF ASSED realeases., that aren't reviewed and in the console realm there's no risk of mass returns
