The X was my 1st jump into the ecosystem, I love the series X. Form, UI is great, points, the lineup has been pretty iffy, but BC makes up for it.

I wasn't super excited to see Xbox go this way, but it means more money for Xbox AND more money for PS to throw at studios .. it's a win

Stalker 2 has consumed my free time, despite the bugs, the goofy A-Life, it is still such an immersive experience.
On a great TV, high quality headphones, in a dark room...holy freaking gaming goodness.
I really had a good time with Redfall too, long after the last patch, it was pretty close to what I had originally hoped for.

Starfield was why I bought the Series X at the start of the gen, but it was my biggest gaming letdown by far, still bums me out.

Also getting to play Far Cry 2 on a console again ha ha

I've finally gown around to Guardians OtG, great game. I am resolute in my determination to finally play that 15+stack of games sitting there in physical form, still in shrink wrap. Easier to hide the digital stuff for a bit

I got this on the cheap so I could prance around in London.

It's awful, not a single redeemable thing about it. It plays terribly, and doesn't look very good

Glad to see it's fairly enjoyable, those first couple of reveal trailers were setting off all the wrong red flags.

Be awhile before I'll get to it, but by then it should be in premium shape.

I see you all left Far Cry 2 off the list........ so very wrong.

Last 20 years have been a blast watching the console wars

I'm not sure how the numbers stack up, but based simply on user experience on my end it's not even close.
The Xbox store is a much cleaner experience, not to mention the UI puts PS and Nindy to shame.
I can't stand PS " recommended for you", if will be flooded with shovelware crap where X store has actual games

I am not going to remotely get excited about the release schedule until December 2025. Xbox has had some really sloppy releases lately and if they are still goofing up in 2024 well...........

But....if they land it cleanly somehow, might be a monster year

Ya that's a bit of a silly take, yes, the Ally is a little beefier but it's not night and day.
Didn't take long for those two to have hardcore fandoms, the wars are alive and well.

This game has been sheer gaming goodness, playing on veteran is crazy exciting and it can look really really good at times. Killer vibes

Wow, I'm in the top 20% for hours logged, and it's thanks to.....REDFALL ha ha, where I'm in the top 2%😝, Stalker 2 and FH4 round it out.

I was beyond pissed when Redfall released, well devastated might fit better.

Finally bought it 3 months ago for 20(got the steelbook new, lucked out?)

It has been sheer utter fun, such a shame this universe will never be revisited.

I only had the 1 bug, couldn't switch from my knife without opening the weapon wheel and the patch fixed it.

Also GT is superior to Motorsport and it's not close.

Also as a new Xboxer, it would be cool if PS got to play the Horizon games, it's freaking really r really good

@Banjo- I grabbed a copy for 20 a couple weeks ago. I had a blast, it's in a much much much better place and it ran great.

Definitely recommend playing on a high difficulty, makes it a lot more tense

I just bought Stalker 2 which should consume a month of free time.

I've got some b/c goodies KOTOR 1&2 and other SW games sitting in the cart. Only need 400 more Reward points and that 25 dollar gift card is mine and I can add MORE to the backlog of shame

I'm actually cautiously optimistic, except it's the NEW and IMPROVED!! MS and well.....

This is one of those games that I can't quite enjoy, I don't get it either.
It's beyond brilliant, incredible dev magic and engineering but it just didn't hook me.

I tried playing it shortly after release and it was a dumpster fire, embarrassing product.
Bought it 1 week ago and it's gotten to a pretty stable state after the final patches, kind of fun.
Not sure there was a great answer to the Studios going forward
Seems like must failed LiveService studios get razed if they fail. Pretty harsh reality

The PC Gamer preview is not comforting, they also called out Redfall, and sadly were right.

I'm still not sure if this a game I'd enjoy....

@FarmDog08 Different tastes and all that, but don't sleep on Infinite Warfare, easily one of CODs best campaigns. I can't recommend it enough.
Cold War is also pretty darn good. Definitely worth playing
