@themightyant Appreciate it! The Portal is flawless at home, and just okay on my hospitals wifi, so hopefully I can get the same or better mileage out of streaming Xbox on the Deck. Did you use any particular app on the Deck?

Random question, but does anyone here stream installed xbox games to their SteamDeck? ( have never used Xbox streaming, would it require installing Windows?)
The PS Portal is just bonkers fun, and i'd love to play my Series X the same way and have a initial release SD.

@Blofse Man thatSteam Deck is bonkers good. I grabbed it a month after release it and still runs petefect.

I even added 20+ games to my backlog!

These past few months at MS have been such a GIGANTIC cluster truck that I'm not sure I trust Xbox just yet.

I love playing games on SX, and I love them on PS5.
But I have been conditioned to check which system runs better, and it is usually so negligible I end up just getting which one has the best deal🤷‍♂️

Sounds so good, I was VERY worried it would get dumbed down too much.

I really hope Starwars, Avowed, Astrobot are all brilliant, but this is my " please let it be good" game

@Medic_alert It's an odd way of thinking, surely Bethesda knows that much of their core audience is getting up there in years. I don't think they have Rockstar levels of mass appeal. I'll be near 50 by the time ES VI comes out, and might not live to see FO5.

My wife of 20 years is still freaking hot, she enjoys watching and looking at beautiful women. She complained constantly when Victoria Secret leaned towards different modelsIt's just how nature made us, we like the shiniest things. Is she jaded, maybe but she will watch cut scenes or gameplay if she thinks the character model is attractive

@jesse_dylan A lot of us "more hardcore" gamers are a dying breed. Traditional RPG mechanics are going the way of the dodo bird. I expect it to be simplified for mass market appeal

I'm still really uneasy about this game, two instances where they showed gameplay that just looked kind of bad. Now this with spliced highlighted gameplay........

Walmart has Gotham Nights for 10 bucks, it's kind of weird but you have to specify the Series X version

I've spent years ogling Halo, was fun watching anticipation build in the fan base and reading through differing opinions.
Infinite was my introduction to Halo, and campaign wise it was just flat out not very good. The gunplay was great, and...uh it..uh.
I'm to late to the party for MP, just don't enjoy it anymore, so I did miss out on some of it

I'm genuinely curious to see the final product, the first few trailers were underwhelming. The eyerolling PR speak from the leads didn't help.

@Banjo- It's an odd thing, I didn't buy my SX for gamepass, I wanted to build a fun library that was " in theory" only on Xbox. So with all these recent happenings at MS I have not bought anything for Xbox because I'm very concerned it's just going to PS eventually as well,.
With GP fans I think this is not any concern, they don't "buy" the games anyways. The investment risk is minimal because " They might think they don't actually own anything anyways"

@Beckerjr @Beckerjr Nice optimism, but if Bethesda doesn't put out a DLC that's widely loved with a MAJOR overhaul of basic Game systems that'll simply not happen.
This game has so so so many half assed systems, horrendous game design and world building it would take years to fix.

I don't think they can put older CODs, it will eat up new COD sales. BLOPS2 was a best seller for awhile, and had attracted quite a community again.

You make a popular older COD free on GP and blow up the community with GP members, Warzone is free as well with newer COD features..... why spend 70-100

@EvenStephen7 Xbox has left me with very little faith over the past almost year.
I've simply just started buying it for the SteamDeck instead.
I will not invest in Xbox any further, at least not until they explain, with credibility, just what the heck is going on

That's so bizarre, this game seems like it would be so easy to market- HIGH END graphics- stellar motion capture, an eye catching title.

I still very much remember how good the 360 marketing was for games- Those GoW trailers were sublime
