Not sure if to buy Lego avengers or DC super villains🤔 Always been on the fence for years on these Lego games... loved Lego Star Wars and a few others back in the day though!

I just have a 1TB HD for my series S and just swap games between that if I need to, so worth it rather than spend £180, you might aswell buy a series X for that!

I want an open world like a fallout/elder scrolls style where I can pick whatever character I want to be, lightsaber, guns, swords, force powers, good evil etc... Also a Battlefront 3 based off the old ones with all the improvements you’d expect like space to ground etc. Could even be Battlefield reskinned for all I care but a must is GALACTIC CONQUEST! Also I would be happy with a fallen order sequel or that style game as well.

Bit gutted. It was the game I was most looking forward to this year from the games already announced, but definitely rather them take their time with the game and hopefully it will be as amazing as I’m hoping in 2022.

Didn’t know they was upgrading it... is it a free upgrade?

Playing quite a lot. Just got into sea of thieves, probably give pes and injustice 2 a whirl too. Had injustice on my PS4 great game and story! Downloaded lots of game pass stuff really on my HD so I can keep swapping them out on my Series S. Probably play some Valhalla and fifa too.

@FraserG cheers! Said I wasn’t going to bother with games I don’t like but caved and did the Rec room and robloxs ones as it’s 1100 points for 15 mins work! Not massive on achievements but loving all the game pass stuff, quests etc since I got my series S. Makes them worthwhile now.

Question on this. If I get less than the 10000, say I get like 2000 or 3000 or whatever will I still get the points? Think I’ll definitely get trying all the stuff on game pass I want to just for the extra points but not going to bother with games I don’t like for the sake of a few extra points. Very nice idea though.

Never understand the people that pay for these... Surely not many do. You’ve bought a a game so why would you pay even more money just to skip half your game out.

Do we know how long EA games are bundled in with game pass for? As I play fight night a lot and not sure if to buy it or not in this sale.

What isn’t on sale lol. Thinking of getting for honor for the 3rd time! Had it on my PS4 but want it for my series S. Tempted by Avengers as well but still don’t know if it’s worth £30 yet, might wait till it’s proper cheap as all service games eventually do. Don’t really need any more games with game pass really but this is just tempting me haha.

It’s worked for AC Valhalla, fight night and a few other games for me every time with no problem on my S.

Got my Series S preordered and going to get game pass and AC Valhalla day one. However bit of a joke that on the US store AC is $60 and on the UK store it’s £60... Surely should be abit cheaper in the UK? Oh well can’t wait other than that lol...

I’ve got the S pre ordered... Just wondering what sort of frame rates we’re going to be looking at and if Microsoft can deliver on giving us 120fps at 1440p as they announced. Okay I know that’s probably optimistic but I’m hoping I can get at least 60fps at 1080p atleast. As long as I can get stuff like AC Valhalla and the new hogwarts game etc and some of the first party stuff backwards compatible running at 60 I’ll be happy as I’m Using the S to tide me over for a year or so until I get a PS5 or a X... Also as a game pass machine. Resolution isn’t a massive drama for me as I’ll mostly be playing on a HD tv as I’m away a lot and on the 4K when I’m at home.

@graysoncharles yeah I can’t speak for Xbox sales but for PlayStation most of the sales were always still more expensive than buying physical bar the big sales... But yeah the Series S is great value for me with game pass you can’t go wrong! Still prefer a disc drive but definitely not complaining for the price of the console and game pass, it’s converting me to digital for now lol but I have always preferred physical. But yeah pros and cons for each, just what you prefer.

Hoping the S does perform as good as they say and literally is just lower resolution as I’m getting one. Mainly for a game pass machine/ backwards compatibility and I’ll buy a couple of the must have 3rd party’s to tide me over till I can afford the PS5.

@kingv84 I guess with consoles it’s worse being all digital because your locked into one eco system and have to pay whatever prices Microsoft or Sony set where as on PC you can shop around a bit more for better prices. And it’s similar with discs you can pickup games used for cheaper or trade and sell your games if you want to put it towards another game. For me on my PS4 I always did this as the store prices were way more than physical and when I don’t want the game I can sell it.

AC Valhalla for me!!! I’m getting an S so going to try keep buying the big third party games to a minimum until I get a X or PS5. But game pass and backwards compatibility is definitely going to help me out tons with that!

Had the Xbox 360 Cod Modern Warfare 2 edition, and then got a Xbox One S for a few months. Got the Series S preordered though so that will take me to 3!

I’ve got it for the month with EA Pro on my laptop and if you play career mode mostly then there’s definitely some good new features in there! I know I shouldn’t get it but every year somehow always end up getting it and playing career mode for hundreds of hours so it is value if your spending 100 hours+ playing the game. Although we all know Ultimate team is pants...

@StonyKL I bought it but it was a Plus game last year I believe, but just the game becomes pointless if you don’t want to pay for plus as it’s mainly online anyway.

Played the sh*t out of this on PS4 but stopped playing because I didn’t want to pay for plus just to play a couple of online games maybe once or twice a month... But now I’m getting a S I’ll get my online with game pass ultimate so definitely happy about this, will buy again!

@RadioHedgeFund True, I’m just going of my PS4... Literally managed to get about 3 games on it and heard the Xbox UI is taking a big chunk this time aswell.

Hopefully most developers utilise this as I’m getting a series S and Storage is going to be a nightmare on that... Probably get about 3 games if I’m lucky.

Should do like some Pub G/ Battle Royale style game rather than copy smash bro’s, think that would work much better with MS characters.

Going to pick up AC Valhalla day one with my Series S! Then going to jump into game pass, want to play Gears ultimate, sea of thieves and hellblade are the first ones on my list! Not really touched Xbox much since 360 days.

@Senua Great for Xbox users then! Getting one myself😅 But think this one instance is not all that bad, guess people will vote with their wallets anyway...

@Senua To be fair according to Push square you can still play the game on your PS5 with backwards compatibility and probably upgraded resolution if you already own it I believe. And if they are remastering the game properly it’s a great game so it’s not all that bad paying the extra £20 or so if you want a better looking version of the game.

@pip_muzz That’s what I’m hoping for, had a PS4, PSVR this gen but just feels like Sony aren’t even trying with the PS5 atm. Where as Xbox are really selling everything at the moment. Hoping Xbox do really well to start with and Sony don’t do as well as they expected to give them a kick up the a*se and get back on track as their first party titles are unmatched in my opinion.

Nothing was coming up at 8am for me on any site I checked but just managed to get some more time as I am in work, and luckily Argos and Amazon had them 45 mins later so ordered a Series S on Amazon! 40% off 3 month game pass with it aswell so I’ll probably take them up on that offer!

Already made the decision to get a Series S then a PS5 a year or 2 down the line but this is making my choice look even better!

Going to get a Series S always thought gears looks decent. Where’s best to start? Straight in at 1? What’s the best Multiplayer to play also?

Can’t wait to get a series S! Game pass, the price, backwards compatibility and a few other features have really sold it to me! Sure I still will get a PS5 but means I can hold out another year or 2 and get this and stick with my PS4 for the best of both worlds and hopefully Sony get their act together abit by then too, as the only thing that I think they have an advantage on atm is their exclusive IP’s. But yeah stuff like this Xbox are really selling me on! Seems like they actually want to make an effort!
