We were a little unsure about what to expect from Xbox Game Pass heading into this week, and we were even more confused when Xbox announced the latest Game Pass roundup yesterday and missed out a day one addition.
The game we're talking about is Shift at Midnight, which is an online co-op detective horror title that was previously scheduled for June 17th. However, a subtle update on Steam mentions that it's now been delayed to July instead.
"We're now targeting the second half of July. We’re confident about this window, but we want to be absolutely sure before we commit to a specific date again (for obvious reasons). We promise that there isn’t anything sinister going on, the external teams just need a bit more time. They are COOKING and giving Shift the final attention it needs and deserves. It is so close, but it needs one final push to make it the absolute best it can be for all players."
We do still have three confirmed Xbox Game Pass additions for this week though, and two of them are AAA titles. Call of Duty: Vanguard makes a surprise appearance following its release in 2021, and EA Sports FC 26 joins the EA Play List (meaning it's available on XGP Ultimate and PCGP) to coincide with the hype of the World Cup.
The other game dropped into the service yesterday in the form of Junkster. It's a 3D action platformer that has all positive reviews on Steam so far, and the few critic reviews have been pretty decent for it too.
Here's a closer look at your three new Xbox Game Pass titles for June 16-18, along with the delayed one:
Junkster - June 16 (Series X|S, PC, Cloud) - Ultimate, PC
