Hello there! Yep, we've got another officially licensed Star Wars product to share, this time in the form of the Mandalorian Wireless Xbox Controller & Xbox Pro Charging Stand Set!
The controller and charging stand are described as "armour-clad in a Mandalorian pattern reminiscent of beskar steel," boasting textured grips, custom button mapping and a magnetic contact system.
As you can see, the wireless controller is based on the Xbox One design rather than the updated Xbox Series X|S model, but you'll have no problems getting it to work on the new consoles as well.
You can pre-order the Mandalorian Controller & Pro Charging Stand set now for an admittedly eye-watering £169.99 / $159.99 on the Microsoft Store, with an official release date of December 31st, 2020.

Cool design, but that price and then not even X|S design? Well that's a pass.
@sanderev
I agree! It looks awesome! But, like you said, that price is outrageous & it’s not even an official XSX/S controller design.
Was all for it until I saw the price! And it’s a last gen controller?No thanks.
Seeing as my wired Xbox 360 for PC controller recently died, I'll think about this.
It's a great looking controller but the cost of it and the fact it's last gen makes no sense. Everyone who's reviewed the new controller days they are a nice improvement over the current ones....so why launch a $130 old controller? I've seen videos of people with a crap ton of controllers so maybe there's a collector market and they budgeted for lower sales? Same price as the squadrons ones the released right?
Lol just saw it's $160 now it's officially a WTF moment. Will be over $200 in Canada after tax.
Oh where were you one year ago?? Not today. Not with my XSX pre-order. I'm a controller hoarder, but even I have to take a pass at this.
If it has rubber grips I am thinking I gotta pick one up, I actually like this special edition, but without the overpriced charging stand as I prefer to use rechargeable AA's
Battery packs and skins are expensive for MS....
Generational shenanigans and outrageous price aside, isn't it kind of pissing all over the actual Star Wars source material this is supposedly an homage to to make a controller with a "Mandalorian pattern reminiscent of beskar steel" but not (I assume by lack of mention) coat, or even accent it, in real metal?
I only watched about halfway through the first season of The Mandalorian, so I'm hardly an expert on the matter, but as I understand it the actual materials that go into Mandalorian armor are important.
