These next-gen upgrade announcements are flying in now!
The latest is for Ubisoft's For Honor, which will boast the following Xbox Series X|S enhancements (carried over from the Xbox One X) from the date of the console's launch, November 10th:
- Improved Water Reflections
- Improved Distance Level of Detail
- Improved Shadow Resolution
- Improved Texture Filtering
- 4K Resolution (Xbox Series X) / 1080p (Xbox Series S)
In addition, Ubisoft has confirmed that your profile, including all purchases and inventory will carry over seamlessly from the Xbox One version when you decide to upgrade to one of the new consoles, and the ability to play at 60FPS on both next-gen systems will be added for the beginning of next season Y4S4, early this December.
And best of all, it's all free!

sounds great! I actually just bought this game a few months ago. I made it through a few chapters of the campaign. I'll go ahead and wait to dive back in once the Series comes out.
Played the sh*t out of this on PS4 but stopped playing because I didn’t want to pay for plus just to play a couple of online games maybe once or twice a month... But now I’m getting a S I’ll get my online with game pass ultimate so definitely happy about this, will buy again!

@BigP You saying this was a PS Plus game then? Will have to dig back through my library and see if I have it somewhere. Never played it but definitely interested in trying if its all improved.
It is odd as there are tons of games in my backlog that I would probably never get round to other than these free upgrades making me want to try them out. It's not like I didn't play them due to their resolution or frame rate but suddenly these 'smart delivery' upgrades makes me want to play them next gen. Makes no sense to me but its working!
@StonyKL I bought it but it was a Plus game last year I believe, but just the game becomes pointless if you don’t want to pay for plus as it’s mainly online anyway.
