I think Capcom have a lot of older games that sell really well digitally since they receive discounts regularly. But new release games are not 80% digital sales wise.

I was reasonably impressed, i expect the PS5 to take a different form when the PS5 slim comes out. I thought it looked a little like the phat PS3. GT7 looked mind-blowing. That was the most impressive game for me. Ya know the first batch of games are always surpassed, quality wise deeper into a consoles life. But what a starting place GT7 places itself at the beginning of the PS5's lifespan.

I'll be getting both console's as I have done for the last 3 generations.

Dirt rally 2.0 and still replaying TLOU on PS4. After resisted the Witcher 3 I finally bought it last week, just to see what I thought. I was really surprised that I could feel it drawing me in. So another game I look forward to playing in my backlog which is borderline ginormous at this stage.

Hitman 2 DLC is €7.99 I'll be getting it today. I also got the cyberpunk Xbox one x. I couldn't resist it.

This looks great. I always wanted a good port of VR. I remember the first time I seen Sega's Virtua racing arcade cabinet in the early 90s while I was on my holidays. At the time I was mad into the SNES, but I can tell you, 'my jaw hit the floor'.

No other game ever had that effect on me.

Never believe a sales man. It'll toss up between graphics and frame rate like it is now but with more power. So if a developer decided to push on the graphics front it could impact frame rate. It'll be hilarious when we see some next gen games not hitting a solid 60fps.

Once it plays at 1080p 60fps on Xbox one x I'll get it.

When M$ show us what these new games are, then we will know if M$ actually have a chance in the next gen. Sony and Nintendo have some incredible ip's. M$ are under pressure here.

I don't care how many Playstation you've owned "Genius"! It's not about opinions, it's about facts. I still say you've never played Gran turismo 5 or 6.

Eh yeah - in a different league. You even said yourself you prefer Horizon, so you and I are at the opposite end of the spectrum.

Don't knock a game series you've obviously never played. Gran turismo 5 & 6 are 2 of the greatest driving games ever created. GTSport is "THE" best online racer there is and has a far superior driving model than Forza. Forza has gotten stale. I had big hopes for Forza when it launched back in 2005. I have played and owned every Forza Motorsport game up to 7. The franchise has lost its way. The handling was never as good as Gran turismo and yeah it doesn't have a lot going for it at the moment.

I have Horizon 4 on my console as it came free with it and I think I played it once. I'm not into arcade racers. I'm loving Dirt rally 2.0 at the moment if you want to try that.

I've had 4 Xbox 360 consoles all brand new. An original which made a sound like a jet engine, a falcon and two 360 E consoles. I never kept any of them long enough to have an issue. I'm sure the first one is dead somewhere but I got a good trade in price from GameStop at the time.

I'll probably be shot for this but I definitely tried and never could take to the 360. I loved the original Xbox and the Xbox one, but I don't like the 360. Weird, I also don't like the PS2 and I tried with it too.

I'm seeing a cross between The last guardian and Horizon zero dawn.

Like to see some first party exclusives. M$ better have something in the bag. I think they need a new IP.

I don't have "Gold" so it's a bit mean of M$ to exclude the millions like me.

The X was on sale recently, I'm sure that helped.

I think I agree. I haven't played any COD games this generation and don't intend to, but last gen I did play modern warfare, it was so hyper my head would be done in.

The most relaxing game I ever played was Pilotwings on SNES

It's well worth checking out. I haven't stopped playing it since I started. It's very realistic and the feedback from the Xbox one console is excellent.

I'm playing Gears of war 4 and Dirt rally 2.0 - good times.

I know, N64 games were far superior but Sony still managed to win that generation. I was N64 all the way. I actually queued all night in Dublin the night before launch to get one - outside the virgin mega store back in 1997 I think it was 3rd March. They had 14 in stock and I was number 7 in the queue.

There's a lot more to luck than what meets the eye. Sony made their own luck. PS1 was also successfully because Sony had entered the console wars at a perfect time, with the change from 2d to 3d sort of leveled the playing field. A bit like the electric car market now.

There's a surprise, Ubisoft at the launch of a console with below par software.

Does it take discs or is it all digital? It's an interesting concept - a weaker Xbox at an affordable price. I think M$ should allow One X to be part of its next gen since it has 6tf compared to this @ 4tf.

It's good for gamers that Sony and M$ keep each other under pressure.

I like the new order the best. There is also Wolfenstein the old blood on Xbox one which is very similar to the new order. It came directly after the new order. It's a shorter game but great fun.

Wolfenstein the new order is one of my favourite games this generation. If you haven't played it yet you need to drop everything and start playing it soon. Mind you it is usually quiet cheap to pick up if it does leave game pass.

I'm loving my Xbox one X. I started playing Gears of war 4. It's a good game. The feedback from the rifle has a very satisfying punch from the controller. While I love the dual shock 4 the Xbox one console beats it in one area and that's the rumble in the controller is far better. Playing games like dirt rally 2.0 with the Xbox one controller you can feel every bump in the road where as playing the same game on PS4 with the dual shock 4 hasn't the same feedback. I have all the dirt games and hitman games and resident evil 2 on both PS4 and Xbox one. Crazy - I know.

This is a handy list. I have a code for a month of game pass. Gonna give it a try soon.
