The highly-anticipated third entry in Ubisoft's Watch Dogs franchise was originally scheduled to release for Xbox One back on March 6th, 2020 before being delayed indefinitely late last year. However, according to a new report from VGC, there's a chance it could now be releasing as an Xbox Series X launch title.
Video Games Chronicle says that it understands Watch Dogs: Legion is aiming to debut alongside both the Xbox Series X and PS5 as long as there's no major disruption to production due to the coronavirus pandemic. The game is also slated to be released for the Xbox One, PS4, Stadia and PC.
However, as noted in the report, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot also hinted to The New York Times recently that should the Xbox Series X and PS5 fail to meet their Holiday 2020 launch windows, the company may be willing to delay its upcoming games to accommodate Microsoft and Sony.

There's a surprise, Ubisoft at the launch of a console with below par software.
Looks interesting but I doubt I'll bite.
Yakuza 3-5, on the other hand.... those would get me interested.
Was the second game any good? I like the idea of Watch Dogs but I'm like 6 hours into the 360 game and I find it's hard to keep my attention on it
Crikey, I forgot all about this game.
I have it pre ordered for Xbox One. Maybe I’ll cancel and get it for next gen.
The first was a Game with Gold, it plays smooth on Xbox One X and it is not a bad game at all. I wasn't interested in the sequel though. Perhaps the third game looks appealing enough!
Am I the only one wanting Ubisoft to make Rayman 4 (in 3D)?
"The game is also slated to be released for the Xbox One,..."
So, Smart Delivery then, right Yves? 😐
@gingataisen

@Alpha-2002
