Codemasters has announced Dirt 5 is coming to Xbox consoles "from October," including Xbox Series X. The game will feature a wide range of vehicles, over 70+ unique routes across 10 different global locations with dynamic weather and time of day, a story-driven career mode featuring the voice acting talents of Nolan North and Troy Baker, and local split-screen for up to four players (including in career mode).
DIRT 5 writes a new chapter in the legacy of DiRT – bolder and braver than ever before. Travel the globe, tame the most incredible off-road machines with your friends, and be part of a vibe that delivers big on epic action, pure expression, and unbridled style.
According to development director Robert Karp, you'll be able to play Dirt 5 on Xbox Series X at 4K resolution and 60fps, but there will also be an option for a 120fps mode for those who want the boost in frame rate. The game will leverage Smart Delivery, meaning you can buy a copy on Xbox One and get a free next-gen upgrade, and fast loading will be present as well, so you can get into the game "almost instantaneously."

I’ll definitely be giving this a go on the Series X but I really hope that when we get the option to play at 120fps that it won’t compromise on resolution, I’d like to think that the power of the Series X would be able to handle native 4K as well as 120fps.
Once it plays at 1080p 60fps on Xbox one x I'll get it.
