The Gardens Between is a good little game.

Original Xbox owner and I've owned one from each generation including this one. The stand-out moments for me are either 1 vs 100 or playing Rock Band with friends. My fav franchise on the console is definitely Gears of War.

As someone who has only played Halo 1, should I watch a recap video on the story up to now? Or is this its own stand-alone story do we know yet?

GTA at some point. But there's a few games ahead of it in my queue right now.

Signed up for just over 2 years of Gamepass. xCloud is running like a dream, as good as Stadia in my experience on my phone. This is a major plus as I dont always have access to TV to play on that. Love being able to play on different screens.

Only just joined Gamepass so I've got a few games ahead of this in the queue. Will play at some point.

I have my Series S one day and these games drop. Dam!

@Dusk_Actual @SpecialT I actually got it for free which makes it all the sweeter. Was contemplating buying one for so long and then I get a free one. Can't wait to dive into all the games I've missed these last few years.

Just got a Series S this weekend. Haven't played my Xbox One in about 5 years so I've a lot of catching up to do. Not sure where to start but thinking of jumping into Gears 5.

Sonic out of these options. Don't really associate most of these characters with Xbox though.

Maybe this will get some more people interested in the platform. Personally I love stadia and hope it succeeds. Being able to play it in a new way is always welcome.

@Nightcrawler71 we are, but unfortunately there is a vocal minority who like to voice their opinion otherwise. Gives gamers a bad name.

I think it's great what Microsoft are trying with GP. Eventually the price will have to go up I feel and at that point it would probably be too expensive for me as a monthly sub.

Original Xbox and probably played PES the most on it. I've had each Xbox until this generation but I don't think I'll be getting the latest one. Have less time for gaming so portability and play anywhere is more important for me than having a powerful console under the TV. It's been a wild ride Xbox. Thanks for the memories.

I generally pick one console per generation. Exclusives are definitely a factor in my decisions but not the be-all and end-all. Where your friends play, the different services a platform offers etc all come into consideration now. The 3 main consoles have never been more different in what they offer and beyond that there's PC and Cloud Gaming to consider. It's a great time to be a gamer but you will always be missing out on something unless you drop a few grand for every platform.

Don't see the point of this when so many OG Xbox games are backwards compatible anyways. People will inevitably complain about whatever games get included in the box.

As long as they keep bringing big third party games to the service I'll be happy. I've played more games on Stadia in the last year than I have on my Xbox One since launch.

As soon as they release an app on smart TVs or a hdmi dongle, I'll be subscribing.

They'd be mad not to make it exclusive. Sony's biggest strength is its exclusives. Xbox need to fight back.

Anyone playing on Xbox One? My boss was watching me play on break at work (not on Xbox) and looked interested in the game. He has Xbox One though and I told him it probably won't play as good as what he was seeing me play.

@Darylb88 it probably will when the season is all but over. In the same way EA adds FIFA to its EA Access/Play Vault every year around April when sales have dried up.

@FraserG OK. Thanks. Wasn't sure how it worked. I think this will be one I watch some videos on Youtube for as it looks cool, but won't be investing in.

What is the actual gameplay loop of this game? If you're doing a long haul flight are you literally killing time for hours doing little to nothing or how does this work? I get being interested in this as a sim but could this be regarded as a game in the traditional sense or more of an experience?

Having tried both xCloud and Stadia i think i will be team Stadia for the next while. Game Pass is a great service but to be honest very few of the current games or the upcoming exclusives interest me. I would be using it to stream 3rd party games and I'd rather do that without being locked in to a subscription service. Buying the game you want and playing wherever is more appealing to me.
More options is great though and if you're already loving the GamePass experience this is a great additional feature to be getting.

Good point. I've only been an early adopter for one or 2 consoles in my life so for me it's not a huge deal. But for others, it is important to have the best framerate and graphics. This will affect those people. For me and many like me, we just want to play the games and aren't too worried about these things.
I play mostly on Switch and Stadia these days. And when I play on Stadia I have performance set to either 720p or 1080p.

@BlueOcean Backwards compatible is all well and good but if there is nothing coming out on Series X that isn't already going to be available on the Xbox One then backwards compatible doesn't really become an issue for another 18 months or so. If I want to play Halo, I can still play it on my current Xbox One. No need to drop a load of money on a new console. So that money I might have spent if I did have to buy the new Xbox at launch can now be spent elsewhere. Potentially on a new PS5.

Xbox seem to think that offering players a way to play their games without the need to buy the new console will mean more people will jump to Xbox.
If anything it will free up €500~ someone might have put aside for an xbox console and is now putting towards a new PS5. They're not losing access to Xbox content and will now have a Playstation console to play on too. If I want to play Halo, I don't need a new console. So why buy one?

Picked up F1 19 yesterday since it's on sale. It is tough but looks and plays unbelievable. Gonna be a steep learning curve but I love it already.

Picked up the original xbox in October 2004. I was in 2nd year in college and the previous year my mates had the PS2. I had never owned my own console and decided to jump on to the Xbox brand. PES 4, PES 5 and EA's Rugby game were played to death that college year. Great multiplayer tournament memories.

I got a months Gamepass for €3.30 on CDkeys.com. When I turned on automatic renewal, Xbox gave me an extra month free. I've sinced turned off auto-renewal so 2 months of Gamepass for €3.30 is decent. Been playing MGS:V. Great opportunity to catch up on some older games.

I usually leave any games im downloading until night time. Even if it's a very big game by the time I get to play it the following evening it's downloaded.

It's even got the hand-glider.

Downloaded 3 big games yesterday, each one over 40gb. Did it over night so as not to slow down speeds during the day. Doesn't bother me, just waiting is annoying.

Just jumped back in to playing Xbox after ignoring it for a good while. Downloaded MGS:V, Gears 5 and GTA:V last night. Should keep me plenty occupied during isolation.
