Since I have both a Series S and a PS5 I think I will get it on Playstation. Although I think I'll also wait for a patch or two first.

Don't care what the console looks like, just put good games on it.

1. Cheap Gamepass using Gold conversion.
2. All my mates are on the platform too. Great for multiplayer.
3. xCloud.

Guess I'm the only one who likes and still plays Halo Infinite.

Already picked up Monkey Island on Switch but great that others will get to try it out now too.

Gonna give it a try purely because it reviews so well. But not sure it's gonna be for me. Not the kinda game I go for usually. Might be one to try on the cloud, save me installing.

Just make good games. Don't care if they're 30 or 60 fps, 4k or 720p. I just want to have fun playing games.

@uptownsoul its rubbish because it worked poorly for you? Not everyone's Internet is the same as yours. If xCloud runs badly for you too is that also rubbish? Because I'm fairly sure you'll find a lot of people on this website alone who think it's great. Myself included. The service runs well, you just might not have the means to access it.

I can see how this would be good for Microsoft but ultimately this is bad for consumers. More ways to play is a good thing and drives competition.
Personally I thought stadia was great, it worked really well for me and the controller was rock solid. It got a lot of my lapsed-gamer friends back into gaming thanks to its low cost of entry to gaming. I hope they don't become lapsed again, have had some great gaming sessions with them over the last 3 years.

@smoreon I was a Playstation boy back when the N64 was out originally and only one of my mates had the N64. So I missed a whole bunch of great stuff. I have access to some of the classics now between Rare Replay and Nintendo Online. Just finding the time is the trick.

I played Goldeneye once for an evening back around the time it released. That is the sum total I have played of any of these games.

I think I'm done buying annual release games. Use to buy them every 3 years or so on release day but I'll pick this up when it either hits Gamepass or goes to €10 price.

Tekken is one of the few game series that I will never miss an entry. Loving how good this looks graphically.

Guess I'll play the campaign on Xbox and multiplayer on Switch.

I have Gamepass so that's good. But will likely be playing mostly on Switch since I can play against friends online.

All in all this is bad for us, the gamers. I don't own a playstation but it's crap that playstation owners now won't get access to this franchise. I get that exclusives are important but when you just buy an already existing 3rd party franchise and just take it from a platform, that's a bit crap for the consumer.

So it's basically just a regular controller with the option to buy more parts for it? Why not just buy an Elite Series 2 in that case? Don't see the point of this.

BTB with rocket launchers and skewers only is carnage. Constant explosions going off and one hit kills aplenty. Love it.

Why do we need all these remakes? If you want to polish up a game through an update/patch go for it. But completely remaking a game and charging €60 seems stupid to me.

Probably James Bond: Licence to Kill on the Atari ST. Great game. Was tough as hell to beat at first but once you learned all the AI tricks it became easy.

Going by Internet forums it would appear that me and my mates are the only people who actually enjoy this game.

Ooof. Can see this being very cheap very soon or being a GamePass title in the next year or so.

So to buy this or wait for the EA game in Spring next year which has the 4 majors as well as FedEx Cup and other famous courses. PGA 2K21 was great, really enjoyed it.

When my GP Ultimate eventually runs out I'll definitely be looking into this. Only 18 months to go.

TV has all the apps built in so no need to have the extra step of booting up the console to watch TV.

Played the demo. Gameplay was good. The comedy grated on me a little though.

Can anyone tell me what's the difference between the Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive Edition and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain? The DE version seems to come with more content but is a good bit cheaper. Is it to do with it not being a Series X/S version or something? Thanks!

I was definitely a lapsed Xbox player once the Switch came out. Portability became a lot more important to me as I had less time to play on main TV screen.
Since stadia and xcloud have come along that has brought me back to Xbox. That and getting a free Series S.

Love all these industry "insiders" making predictions and then when they're wrong most of the time they just come up with an excuse to cover themselves.

Ya I use to buy these new once every 3 years or so but with Gamepass I'm happy enough to just play last years one for now.

Fell off this game pretty quickly to be honest. Much more interested in sim racers but did enjoy the bit I played. Good fun!

Good lineup of games. Havent played a Far Cry game in a few years so might give 5 a go.

Played and loved AC Odyssey but the bloat towards the last third of the game put me off finishing it. Im assuming this will be the same so might skip.

They're available in Ireland too. The Xbox ones were delicious last time.

I've been a Tekken boy since the beginning and never played a Street Fighter game but this looks class. Will definitely purchase day one.
