My Xbox is in sleep mode for now. Tears of the Kingdom is all I'll be playing until maybe Tekken 8 comes out.

Will likely wait on a discount. Never played a Street Fighter game really, I'm more looking forward to Tekken.

@Chaotic_Neutral too many people get hung up on fps in online forums. In reality, a lot of people just play games and enjoy them with counting frames.
A fun game is fun. Inspecting picture quality is less fun.

Becuase "sources" have been bang on with their predictions in the past. This is a non news article which is happening here more and more. Would much rather you guys report news rather than "he said/she said" rumour crap. It's unreliable.

Will give this a blast as I'm playing nothing at the moment until Zelda. Looks like there's fun to be had with this one despite the negativity online.

@RainOcampo Think I was getting speeds of roughly 20mbs at the time which still meant long download times for big file size games, but it was more than good enough to run Stadia. I was in that "sweetspot".
But I know what you mean. I still get to kind of enjoy that feeling when a game comes to xCloud. Love trying out new games that way without having to download a massive file first, especially if the game turns out to be not for me.

Times like this I miss Stadia. File sizes were a non issue.

I don't really buy games on Xbox anymore because of Gamepass. And I don't plan on buying anything right now especially since Zelda is out next month and that will get all my focus for the next few months I'd guess.

Ubisoft are the cheapest games out there. Hard pass on this.

I only play about one or 2 games at a time so don't need a load installed at once. Beat a game, uninstall. Move on. No need for extra memory.

I've bought one game on Xbox since I joined Gamepass a year and a half ago. They don't interest me anymore on this platform.

Played a good bit of Quantum Break, probably over 60% but it was getting a bit samey at that point. Was really enjoying it but eventually got bored with it. It's worth a try for anyone thinking of playing it before it leaves the service.

Just started playing this on Playstation. I think I'll be dropping to easy mode. Enjoying it though.

Don't get the fascination with next-gen versions. Why not make a new game instead of spending time on a game that is already out and there to play? The amount of re-makes and remasters is getting ridiculous.

No. I'm happy not spending €300 every 2 or 3 years. People seem intent on getting rid of their money as fast as possible.

Only played Halo 1 a few years ago and been playing Infinite since launch. Infinite has become one of my favourite games ever. Absolutely love it.

@theduckofdeath was never much of a MK guy so will probably skip that. And I've never actually played a SF game but really liked the look of the last 2 in the series, if this one reviews well I might pick it up.

There's not too many games I buy day one anymore. Tekken is one I will though. I'm ready for the next battle.

PlayStation: The Last of Us.

CTR and Mario Kart can't be beat. Unless Nintendo re-do Diddy Kong Racing. Obviously!

Best game I've played in a long time. Only thing that beats this for game of the year is potentially Zelda. When I rolled credits I was gutted it was over. A very special game.

I've never played a Souls-like. Should I avoid this completely? It looks cool.

Just finished Hi Fi Rush on Friday night. What a game. Best I've played in years. Hard to know what to play after that.

Beat the game last night. Truely amazing. I genuinely think this might be in my top 5 favourite games of all time. Loved everything about it. And only for the fact that Zelda is out this year, this would be a safe bet for my game of the year.

Well done to all involved in making this. It's a very special game.

I've bought one xbox game in the last year and a half because of Gamepass. In that same space of time I've probably bought 2 Nintendo games and 6 Playstation games.

@pip_muzz I jumped back in for the first time in months last night. Played a few games and yes got mostly destroyed but by the end of my play session I was getting better. I think my biggest issue was not being familiar with the maps. Gonna jump back in tonight.

It's my GOTY so far but I'm fully expecting Zelda to steal it's lunch money. Definitely one of the best games I've played in the last few years for sure though. So much so that I changed my profile pic for the first time since I joined this site a few years ago. Halfway through and loving it.

F1 is my fav for sure. They're such well made games. FIFA next but haven't played in a year or 2.

I did a survey from Microsoft months ago asking about this. I selected that I would have no interest in an ad version.

Gonna pick up Sonic Frontiers. I gameshare with my nephews who are getting an Xbox for Christmas. Will be nice to be able to copy this onto their console christmas morning on top of all the other games they'll get through Gamepass.

@JayJ And there hasn't been too many new releases on Gamepass this year. Not many that interested me anyways.

The downside of being a "patient gamer" is not being involved in these end of year discussions. Alomst every game I played this year was at least 1 year old if not more. But I'm happy enough playing Gamepass games and cheap games on sale on other platforms. And there's only one game out next year that I plan on buying day one (Zelda).

Seems like a "try it for yourself" game. A lot of people seem to be enjoying it. Not for everyone though.

Honestly, none of these. Haven't felt the need to buy any games of late on Xbox. Gamepass offers more than enough to keep me busy.

Great value. Especially at a time when things are so expensive. This will make things a little bit more affordable for a lot of parents this Christmas.

Personally I think PES 3,4 and 5 was the best era for football games. The gameplay was fantastic. Played the hell out of all these games in college.
