I just don't trust the company anymore. They're saying this today, what will they say in 6 months?! What will they do when their next console also falls way behind in sales because people have left them for other platforms??

It's hard to take anything xbox says seriously these days. I hope they do well because competition is important but it's still very messy there.

Delighted to see this. I've packed my xbox away as a result of them going multi platform. Plan to buy South of Midnight and Indiana Jones on playstation and Switch in the next few weeks. Really looking forward to South of Midnight, the reviews I've seen look great

Given that most xbox games are coming to other platforms now, I would guess this is more bad news for xbox. Another reason to not buy an xbox

Ya, there's a new Sega in town. Pretty soon we're going to have a 2 console market.

They might keep making consoles but not many people are going to buy them. I won't be, can put that money towards games on other platforms now instead.

@Banjo- its 100% a way to get more clicks. But I feel it's reasonable to assume some PlayStation owners will want to see how the review pans out. They might never frequent this website since they're not on the platform so I don't see why they wouldn't cross post the review.
So I do feel it's innocent in that regard. I'm not sure what the issue is here to be honest.

@trev666 this is one of the very few (or possibly only) time they've done this. And PlayStation reviews won't get cross posted here because Playstation doesn't release their games on Xbox.

But there are likely people who own playstation only who are interested in this game and it would be of interest to them to see how it's reviewing. It's not the big stretch of the imagination you're trying to turn it into.

A reviewer is entitled to their opinion. Read other reviews and try it for yourselves. Must of you probably have Gamepass so form your own opinion. But respect others too, even if you don't agree with it.

Own all 3 platforms this gen. I'll be owning just 2 next gen. Can see no reason to own an xbox anymore. Xbox as a platform is on the way out.

There's no way I'm paying that. Currently subscribed for about €6 a month, stacked for the next 2 years using the Gold conversion method. When that runs out I'm probably done with Gamepass. Been using the other platforms way more in the last few years anyways.

Rated it an A. But Xbox have had great showcases before. They need to start backing them up with consistently good releases for them to mean anything. So right now it doesn't mean too much. Looking forward to Indiana Jones though. Will play that for sure when it releases. Glad it's a 2024 game.

Ya I can't see me buying the next Xbox console. I own all 3 current platforms and I haven't turned on my xbox to play a game in over 9 months. Next gen I'll be just PS and Nintendo.

I'm still happy with my Series S and GTA 6 isn't a must play for me. I'm only just now getting around to playing GTA 5. Once a game runs well enough I'm usually happy. Doesn't have to be cutting edge for me to enjoy it.

I resubbed to Gamepass about 6 months ago for another 3 years (got it cheap) but I haven't played anything on it since. The other consoles have had more to offer me so I've been playing there. I'll probably play one or two big releases this year on Xbox and everything else will be on Switch and PS5. So I'm definitely not interested in more tiers.

Xbox is my Gamepass console. Don't need disks.
Playstation I have the digital console which is perfect for playing with PS Portal.
Switch I buy physical for big games but most are digital.

Already ordered it but went for Playstation for this one. Looking forward to playing it. Haven't gotten a Tekken game at launch in a good while.

@Kienda for me it's totally worth it. Feels very comfy to use. I've brought it to the office and family home to use too and it runs brilliant. But I mostly use it on the couch while the TV is occupied.
Test out remote play on your phone or laptop though before you invest. Just because it works well for me doesn't mean it will run brilliant for you.

I managed just over 300 hours in total between all 3 platforms. Nintendo, coming out on top with half those hours. Portability has become very important for me. Recently got the Playstation Portal so that will likely boost my PS hours next year.

I own all three console platforms, this was definitely a year dominated by Nintendo gaming for me. TOTK and Mario Wonder getting a lot of my attention. I spent more time at TOTK than I did playing all games combined on PS.
Expecting that to change next year now I have the Portal and will have a lot more time to play.

All the nominees seem about right for me. Hi Fi Rush will be getting all my votes for sure. Also loved Planet of Lana. But other than that nothing on Xbox has stood out to me.

My PlayStation Portal arrives soon so I might opt to get it on PlayStation.

Played a few hours, wasn't for me. It won't register anywhere on my favourite games list. Glad some people are enjoying it though.

@somnambulance Same as that. Anything I'm interested in there I've mostly played already. But it's a good mix of games for sure.
I'm also on Ultimate so not really an issue.

Started playing FM23 last month on my phone. Forgot how much I love these games. Being able to play on phone via cloud is a great way to pass time on lunch breaks and on the couch. Love that I'll be able to import my save to the new game, great feature.

Longest I've ever had was about 2 minutes. And that's rare. Guess I'm playing at off peak times

As much an all as I would like to jump in to this game and try it out, I don't think I have the free time to commit to it. Will hopefully get to it before the end of the year.

Series S owner here. Common sense prevails. For the amount of people this will affect, it's the best solution. Not saying it's not annoying for those it will affect, but everyone else shouldn't suffer as a result of it.

Runs like a dream for me. Use it with my Razer Kishi and Samsung S21 phone. Used it for playing Hi Fi Rush, recently beat Planet of Lana and currently working my way through Halo 2 all on Xcloud.

I think I've bought one game on Xbox since I joined Gamepass over 2 years ago.

Played the first hour or 2 and enjoyed it. Something else must have distracted me cos I never went back.

Unless I can get GP Ultimate cheap somehow again I won't be resubscribing when my sub runs out. Will just pick up cheap games on sale instead.

I'm not sure I'll be renewing when my current sub runs out. It's a cool service but as someone who owns the other two consoles I'm happy enough to pick up games I want cheap in sales instead of playing the games xbox puts on the service.

Tried out PSVR2 recently. Absolutely amazing how good it is. But I've no intention of buying one at the current cost. Right now it's just a cool tech-demo.

Looks nice but I'm not too hyped about a tie in controller for a game I've never played.

Doesn't bother me. Thankfully I barely notice any difference between 30 and 60 fps. Once the game is fun to play I'm happy.

@Thenewguy most people are. The average gamer who just buys and plays games without going on forums and message boards likely doesn't care.

Once again its "look at all the stuff we have coming". Xbox releases more consoles than games. It's getting repetitive. These shows always look great but it's all for nothing if the stuff they (eventually) release aren't good.

Tears of the Kingdom has me sorted for awhile to come.

@Banjo- Yep I get thats it's faster. I still have a hard drive that I originally used on the Xbox 360. It's currently plugged into my Series S. This is why I will stick with USB drives.

Dont like these at all. How do we know these will be supported on future consoles? At least USB is standard.
