€450 I paid for my series x and €350 I paid for my series s!
Those prices now are crazy!
I was blessed getting my series x when I did for that price!
I wouldn't buy any of them at current prices!

I'll give this a go eventually with the gears beta starting soon I don't want to start anything else new just yet.

I liked it lots of great games on the service and the best was it helped me beef out my owned digital 360 titles and good ones for Xbox one I can still access like sunset overdrive and Forza games!
Best game I played from it by a country mile was the original dark souls!
Got me into the series I never played the games before that one I bought dark souls 2 soon after completing it!
They are my favorite type of games now another dark souls or elden ring everyday over a new GTA for me!

@NeoRatt In co-op it's still a good game just in the single player it falls down hard in my opinion.

I'll definitely play the new a plague tale when it drops hopefully it will still be good with the new gameplay direction the series is going

Quite bad in my opinion the companion AI is some of the worst I've ever experienced in a game!
Despite the slight visual upgrade over gears of war ultimate edition it was worse game to play.
Ultimate edition everyday over reloaded.

I just bought doom dark ages revelations yesterday half price now on Xbox store why not!
So I'll start that and continue on with halo campaign evolved getting all skulls and terminals as I playthrough the game it's great fun!
Other than those I'll play a little pba bowling and definitely some Forza horizon 6.

I looked at the trailer in the store on my console that's as far as my knowledge goes on the game sorry haha 😂

It was between pba bowling and halo for me this month but I voted for halo very fun game to play in my opinion and I'm hunting the skulls and terminals on each level as I go through to make it more interesting.
Solid 8/10 game.

No need to sell consoles if you can get enough people into the ecosystem with ventures like this.
Which could get a popularity boom in the coming years considering the prices the hardware will go up to in the coming years.

@Gabrie Platform sales yes but the user experience on the platform is great the service itself is perfectly fine but the number of users and new user's coming in isn't enough

Is great to hear it should of been that way from the start of the gen.
The optics around the brand are definitely more positive since Sharma took over.
She just needs to start making money back for Microsoft now it seems and get engagement up aswell.

Playing gears since day one I love it it's the reason I bought and have stayed with Xbox all this time!
Me and my hippie mate Dean played it co-op every difficulty after we beat the one before insane was so hard especially raam and the but when you are driving and need to use the light to get rid of the kyrill.
Great times!
Even my gamertag was born from gears of war I entered a clan for multiplayer in gears 3 and have kept the clan name ever since!
Gears is Xbox too me I hope this new one is a return to form!

@Fiendish-Beaver Mass effects multiplayer was so fun I was number 1 in Ireland for about the first 6 months after the game came out.
I can't remember my top world ranking though maybe around top 50 or 80?
I was more concerned staying number 1 in Ireland haha 😂

The new horde mode sounds a fair bit like Helldivers 2 gameplay all be it without stratagems and more players sounds fun!
The multiplayer now that will be very interesting as a seasoned wallbouncer myself that could be a huge miss for me personally.
Sounds like the pvp multiplayer could be at a lot slower pace without wallboucing in this one.
But I'm still optimistic that I'll love this game top to bottom!

Not for me this one I'll continue on with halo for now

Also base playstation 5 plays the game considerably worse than series x if we are going to split hairs on what is a good look.
Like has been mentioned by others.

It's not a surprise with playstation 5 pro is it?
At least Xbox has access to everything else from the halo franchise so that victory is extremely hollow if you can call it that!

It's the industry nowadays everyone can have a job and eventually gaming will collapse on itself or this can happen and it can survive and we all can continue to enjoy it.
I've enjoyed some of there games but if you don't make profit this is what happens unsuccessful studios aren't going to keep being financed by a sugar daddy if there sales are bad.
Xbox can't afford to keep financing mediocrity!

@HonestHick I'm quietly hopefully multiplayer could eventually be added even as paid dlc.
It would sell so much more if it had pvp multiplayer.

There's no way I'm setting up a coca-cola account to get that fanta skin!

Not many games are made set in Ireland for myself don't see that changing soon unfortunately.
I think one of the assassin's Creed games had a dlc set in Ireland but I went of Ubisoft type games many moons ago!

@Fiendish-Beaver Forza horizon 6 is an amazing game best in the series by miles!

A good 9/10 for me I gave this release a bit of crap but I'm enjoying playing it so far!
Definitely feels like a modern take on the game control wise and how it feels to play a big improvement over the master chief collection version.
A nice surprise for me I didn't think I'd be bothered by this game considering I've completed so many version of it before.

@Balaam_ Go offline mode and make sure you are on your home Xbox and that's everything you need.

@MrStark By virtue of the amount of people not effected me included it was definitely a limited outage probably just a regional problem.
I'd say some people where just hoping for the worst to be honest considering the psn outage recently.

Maybe they could give those who were effected a couple thousand reward points or a voucher?
I think that would be appreciated.

I was unaffected by the outage and could access halo early so it worked out for me in the end!

@Quantyx I'd say this must be a regional issue seems a lot of us have access no issues to report!

@somnambulance I've never had an Xbox with a decent disc drive I've never used my one on series x except on the day I bought it and it's useless doesn't read a thing now!

No issues at all I even could access the new halo game tonight aswell so I lucked out very much!
I hope things get sorted for everyone effected though and if you can get online and are interested try out halo campaign evolved it might just work for you aswell!

And I 100% agree with you to much outrage and negativity around these sites lately for what is a hobby.
I try not to get personal with people on here myself but I'm not perfect
