My misses showed me something the other day and the video has loads of hits and replys.
They are making out like it's a relationship sim because you have to go on dates with her and can txt and flirt or whatever else basically maintain a relationship with a computer girlfriend is the way it's put across!
I looked my misses dead in the eye and told her straight!
"Well I'll be playing this game that's for sure!"

I'm not totally against them putting certain limits on streaming but it would have to be at least double or triple the amount announced!
If we lay down and accept everything they throw at us we will keep getting less for more or the same price which is exactly what this is.
You can have an affinity for a certain companies or whatever but something anti consumer is always a negative as much as I love my Xbox myself I'm more concerned with getting value for my money than the multi billion corporation's all day everyday!

@Titntin The gaming companies are really trying to monitize there user's in anyway they can lately it's gone to a new level no doubt about it.
While Xbox has been a coming across more consumer friendly lately which is a great thing this decision is very anti consumer and hobbles people on certain devices!
You are 100% right this decision should be criticized and not pushed under the rug!
Hopefully they can reconsider the time length for each tier.
Maybe even double the amount of time because they all look like a really short amount of time.
Also it doesn't make sense to monitize something that such a small amount of the population that use the service to it's fullest!

@fatpunkslim I'm probably going to start the new plague tale game today I loved the other two games I know this one is a different type of game but I'm happy to see users here enjoying it.
I've finished off the games I wanted on my backlog so it's time to jump into this!

@Echtzeit While I agree some people do just pile on that don't even necessarily use Xbox and are just here gloat but this is definitely not a positive thing to be honest.
My first reaction was meh not a problem for me but the more I actually thought about it that it will eventually all be it effect me negatively.
When next gen comes now we will have a time limit on what games you can stream on the series s/x consoles and the same goes for anyone still on Xbox one now streaming.
In my opinion that must be one of the major reason for this change if you want to play select next gen games as much as you want you will have to upgrade and same goes if you are still on Xbox one now streaming.
It's not the worst thing to ever happen but it's definitely not better than what it was before this so I'd say some people are totally justified to react negatively because it's not a positive thing for the consumer.
Trolls and gloaters aside it is a negative for Xbox users what was once unlimited and free with a sub is now time limited and if you want to go over that pay up!

Just thinking now this will hobble people streaming current gen games on Xbox one and will hobble people playing next gen games on series s/x machines!
A terrible anti consumer decision to try monitize the small amount of users who actually stream games a lot isn't a good look!
Hopefully there's enough backlash for team to at least double the allotted times.
Back down to reality after some good moves by Xbox recently I guess there will always going to be some bad news around the corner!

They are literally trying to bleed as much money out of us as they can!

Obviously this is a much worse deal that what we had before but for me at least it's a relatively small thing.

@Spider-Kev I'd say eventually it will get delisted because of all the licensed music in the game.
Similar to the Forza horizon games.
I could buy it now but I've completed it before so don't really want to get it till it's like a fiver or getting delisted.

@FuzzieGinge88 Xbox users are basically all digital anyways my dude the series s is has sold more than the series x so most are fully digital as it is.
As for them communicating with us is a good thing obviously everyone knows they just want our money but it feels better to give your money to a friendly face that communicates than a brick wall!
They are running a service that people pay to use so informing those users about the cause of an issue that effected some is a good thing!

PlayStations issues with there own user's perceptions of the company are there own problem nothing to do with Xbox my dude because Xbox has been on the all digital train since the series s launched.

@GeeEssEff Es6 is still years away at best and Bethesda take an age for everything!
GTA V is out in just over two months they dropped the first trailer years ago and it looked quite far along there at least far along to release more trailers or something.
Even now the secrecy all along they way has been strange to me.

Do they not have the faith in this game like they clearly did in GTA V red dead 2?
Maybe it's just me and I'll be totally wrong which I hope is the case but something isn't adding up to me.

@badboidre Red dead redemption is a far superior series to GTA in my opinion!
Red dead redemption 2 is one of the best games ever!
I don't see the new GTA having a really good story with characters you truly care about!

@GeeEssEff It's just not a good look to be honest while well within there Rights to do it I still don't agree especially considering I myself believe stuff in that extended look was held back from general release to monitize at that specific date.
But it is what it is I'm not heartbroken over it.
I just prefer when anything is marketed in a normal way to much secrecy about everything and over a year of nothing just to build up interest or something but it's not really needed for this game it's going to sell crazy.
They didn't need to go this strategy to sell requiem and that did great!

A couple trailers here's the settings and characters bing bang bosh!
Even monitizing the actual trailers on Netflix aswell is a joke!
That's why they barely showed anything before that because they wanted to make money off the back of the trailer and Netflix obviously paid the most!
The game will be great but just Market it like a bloody game and be normal!
No other game has ever been marketed like this or speculated on so much it's a bit annoying hence why the leaks happened if they showed actual gameplay before that Netflix reveal like any other game would of then nobody would of cared!

I haven't been a fan of how this game has been marketed that said I don't really care for more screenshots of characters up close doing poses looking all moody that won't happen in actual gameplay.
I'll be very happy when the game gets released so it will be another decade before we have to suffer through this again.
Hopefully the next red dead redemption gets a normal marketing campaign and not delayed multiple times.
I'd be happy not to see anything else new about the game till it's release.
Rockstar think the have the second coming of Christ on there hands not just a video game that's very good most likely exceptional.
I'll enjoy it when it comes out but treat it like a games release not like it's a gift to humanity.

@TDHorizon Yeah I'm enjoying it so far the story and music is top notch just past where I gave up before now so I'll keep playing till the end now.
It's the only game out of the mafia series I haven't completed.
It can be slightly buggy sometimes with some optional missions but nothing that bad.

@asdfghjklz Hey whatever works for yourself personally is always the right decision I get great use out of gamepass.
But it has always been very cheap for me due to eu laws if the price rises effected me I probably would of unsubed for sure.
But yeah starfield is a very dull game hours and hours and literally light-years of dullness!

@asdfghjklz Also because it's GTA it's going to sell more than anything else like always!
Starfield has hundreds of hours worth of content but that doesn't mean it's a good game even with a great price to hours ratio that the game would have.
Also if you are playing on gamepass the fable ratio would be amazing aswell

I'll definitely take longer than 20 hours with this game when it drops.
I hope there's a lot of stuff to do off the beaten track in the game obviously all the interactions and your social status within the towns will be fun but I hope the world will be worth exploring aswell!

I'm going to start this at some point next month I wanna finish off mafia definition Edition current gen version and mafia 3 before starting it!
But from what I'm hearing it sounds very good not like the original two games but still a great game to play!

I'd say in this version it's easy enough I'm just playing on easy myself right now.
I'll try classic difficulty when I complete it but I'm not going to break my heart if it's too much!
Amazing game though the current gen version is really something special in my opinion!

@ScalenePowers Ryse son of Rome is seriously underrated in my opinion a great game that still looks really good all these years later!
I even enjoyed the combat in it!

@mac_da_man Well done on beating mafia on classic difficulty I nearly went mad on the Xbox one version trying to do that before giving up haha 😂
The current gen version is something special though the cut scenes really shine now!
The shooting seems a lot tighter aswell but that could just be my imagination.

I'm going to continue on with mafia 3 I'm actually really enjoying it this time after giving up on the game twice before haha
Other than that a little bit of mafia definition Edition aswell and most likely some Forza horizon 6 as I'm still addicted ha!

@Sindayl I'd say the series s could surprise with how well it handles this game.
I'm thinking it will probably get performance similar to red dead redemption on the VCR Xbox one!
900p or there about hopefully higher at near perfect 30fps.
Obviously some things will be scaled back but on a 1080p display you will be fine I'd say.
But then again I'm just guessing!

Looks amazing to me I literally couldn't care about 60fps for this game!
I bet most of those moaning are going to buy the game anyways.

@Fiendish-Beaver I'm hopeful it will do ok the first two games where critically loved and must of sold decently enough to have a third game out now.
It does look very different to the previous two though in fairness.
I'm going to start it as soon as I'm done with playing mafia 3.

Considering every a plague tale game was or is on gamepass and this one and the second game released day one I'd imagine they probably did more work on the Xbox version or Microsoft probably have them access to in house testing of the game with them to get these results.
Either way the game will look great on everything and any differences is just splitting hairs.

I recently just finished the Xbox one version of this game after completing the 360 version years ago.
Because of the art direction of the game it still looked very clean and sharp when I was playing it.
Obviously I wouldn't be picking this up soon as I've only finished it but the current version available now still performs amazingly well!
Cheaper option most likely!

Ps6 probably won't even play ps5 games the way they are throwing there weight around lately.

@eduscxbox To be honest the only time I used my disc drive on my series x was the day I bought it just to make sure it worked! Hahaha
Plus on Xbox the series s sold a lot more than the series x which has never had a disc drive so the Xbox community is mostly on the digital bandwagon this gen as is.
I'm not afraid of the digital future tbh because I've been all digital since the Xbox one more or less I'm already a decade and a bit into all digital hahaha 😂
