Happy Friday, everyone! To celebrate the end of the week, we're back with another roundup of all the new releases and what's coming to Xbox Game Pass!
The biggest release of the day has got to be Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Capcom seems to be on an insane streak when it comes to top-flight games. I only played the Onimusha demo last night and pre-ordered the game straight after completing it. Did not expect to vibe with it so hard.
Anyhoo, for Xbox Game Pass, we have two new additions for you today. The first is Dice A Million, and the other is a 10-hour trial for the latest ice hockey romp, NHL 27. I suppose the latter is more of a perk, and you'll need to be subbed to Game Pass Ultimate to claim the trial.
So, here's what launching on Xbox today (September 4):
Dice A Million (Xbox Game Pass) - Ultimate, Premium, PC
Have you ever tried to roll 1,000,000 on a set of dice? No? Build the right bag of die, and you might just pull it off. The game is called "Dice A Million" but dice alone won't get you anywhere far. Gear up your hand with more than 80 unique rings with that will act as your passive items. They're always active and trigger wacky effects in your dice. Get a bunch of them and you'll be hitting those dopamine receptors sooner than later!
EA SPORTS NHL 27 (10-hour trial with XGP) - Ultimate
EA SPORTS™ NHL 27 brings the identity of every NHL team to life on the ice, in the arena, and through the broadcast. On the ice, gameplay is driven by true team identity through 32 unique NHL Team Playbooks powered by NHL EDGE data. Teams now play with more recognizable structure, from how they break out of their zone to how they pressure on special teams and adjust late in close games. The result is more authentic matchups where each team feels different and strategy matters every shift.
