I loved the first two games so I'm really looking forward to this one combat definitely looks more fast paced and less Stealth focused like the other games where.

@Coletrain I think I'm only at about 12k myself but it goes up quickly enough just have to stop the temptation to pick up something on sale with the points between now and release but like everyone I've plenty to play.

I think it's mostly controller features for the playstation to be honest besides every game plays best on playstation 5 pro so it's nothing new.
Just because someone else has a version with a couple bells and whistles mostly if not exclusively related to the controller doesn't mean it should stop you enjoying it on your console of choice!

Definitely one to get on sale not full price not enough meat on the bones for that in my opinion but should be a fun game.

GTA 6 hopefully will be amazing it will take something to beat red dead redemption 2 in my books but it's looking good.

It's a bit tribal at times with Xbox I'm very guilty of it myself in the past and will probably will be in the future but hey nobody is perfect haha 😂

@RareXbK Some people can be positive about Xbox without being bots or In lala land especially on an Xbox fan site in fairness.
Also we don't know what any of the next gen consoles will be like price points features games improvements anything other then they are happening nothing is set on stone if Xbox can go from great to crap in your mind what's there not to say they can be great again??

Also all console ls will be near enough to a grand next gen what makes you think the playstation won't be just as expensive they haven't even mentioned anything about trying to keep the price for next gen down just monitizing there current user base theres a lot of assumptions in your logic not many things that are aren't factual just feelings.
Also why is a pure console experience superior to a console and pc experience???

@NishimaruX Not necessarily Xbox is still massive in gaming nobody knows how next gen will go I doubt Sony are just going to steam roll everything again it's very possible helix sells more units than the the series s/x generation it's far from a a forgone conclusion.
And I'd bet my house on it doing better than this overpriced rubbish to be honest!

@NishimaruX It's all ifs and buts though in fairness nobody can say today this steam machine will sell more than anything also why would it sell well at all would be my argument when is only just as powerful as a ps5 and series X for over a grand I don't see them flying off the shelves!
It's simply not powerful enough to do anything new and is amazingly overpriced.
Seems theres more hope from you the steam machine does well and the helix fails.
This steam machine is going to be a very niche product simply because it's underpowered and overpriced with whats coming next gen.

It has to cost less or at least have a series s type version that does.
They are looking at ways to bring the price down that's been confirmed so I'd expect it cheaper than this valve console!
This machine is a rip off at this price the series x is more powerful aswell!

One thing's for sure I bet it will be an odd game hopefully it's worth a play but Hideo Kojima is very overrated in my opinion.
He is gamings answer to Neymar some people will swear blind he is amazing and truly believe it but I don't see it myself!

@CaptainCluck So why does Sony or any other company close studios aswell if gamepass is the main reason not over saturation of games and studios in the market?

I'd tend to think its games you can play whilst holding your manhood with one hand or the female equivalent (nothing I could think of probably wasn't not offensive unfortunately)

They are still very overpriced for how old they are.

@Fiendish-Beaver Yeah that's fair enough different strokes for different folks but yeah there's a load of horde games set up everyday on gears 5 every different type of horde on any difficulty.
I'll play with anyone to be honest once it's enjoyable I don't really use a headset anymore so it's all the one really.
And that's some achievement alright do you think you will get them all done on insanity before E-day drops??

@Fiendish-Beaver Yeah I just hope they get it right with horde mode in this one because that's what will keep people coming back in my opinion after everyone completes the campaign!
Look at gears 5 you can still get great games of horde now while the multiplayer is a bit more sparse and harder to get good games going.

@nomither6 Hopefully cole and Baird will be in the new game in some form they will definitely be playable in multiplayer and horde at least.

I just hope they don't ruin horde in this game it's a bit vague what this games version will actually be like.
Horde is a really important part of these games if they don't get it right and mess it up to much it that could be huge negative when the game launches.
Horde on gears 5 is still very popular all these years later.

They could do a 60fps mode you never know either way I'm not to bother gladly!
I'm sure it will run great on series x.
Red dead redemption 2 is full 4k 30fps on series x and looks better than most games released since it came out so I have fate it will be really good looking!

Crazy decision to over complicate just playing co-op.
Luckily I have no urge to play this co-op in any form and if I do I'm sure the other person will have everything needed.
I understand why people would be annoyed but at the same time it's not a massive ask if you want to play the game.

Studios are closing everywhere it's just the industry at the moment I don't think if this was multiplatform it would make a difference to what is happening now within Microsoft and studios being let go.

Im sure the Xbox versions will get an update when this drops no patience in the world anymore relax!
Not to mention they haven't mentioned anything about if the resolution will be updated for the playstation version also like fatpunkslim says the game isn't as broken currently as it's made out to be!

Cause and effect the market is oversaturated that's why this is happening and will continue to happen in the industry right now no matter what playstation are super successful but they close studios it's just inevitable!

If that's actually what the game will be looking like on series x it will look amazing probably the first game to properly run the console to it's limits!

@bert0503 It's decent enough the 60fps update makes a big difference especially on series x with ray tracing 60fps.
There are some songs missing from the radio stations though in the current gen versions probably due to licensing.
