Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 1-2)

It's weekend time! We've obviously got some big new Xbox Game Pass titles to check out including Halo: Campaign Evolved and Mistfall Hunter, and don't forget that the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale ends in just a few days.

Here's what we're playing on Xbox this weekend:

I'm actually just getting back from a week-long holiday at the beach, so I hope everyone's had a good week and enjoyed playing Halo: Campaign Evolved and whatever else! I'm writing this well ahead of time, but I definitely will have taken my ROG Xbox Ally X away with me, so it's probably been a few days' worth of indie and AA games for the most part.

I haven't really got much else to say right now, aside from that I'm looking forward to Beast of Reincarnation next week. Game Freak's Pokémon titles shaped my childhood, and Pocket Card Jockey is one of my favourite handheld games of all time, so I've got high hopes that they're going to deliver with this ambitious new adventure title.

I'm feeling the withdrawal from Gears E-Day. I just want to play more! I suppose I better make do with Gears 5 for now then, It's still such a good game. This weekend is all about the OGs it seems, as I'd like to keep going with Halo: Campaign Evolved. My goal at the moment is to complete a Legendary Remix campaign, but woof! It's still kicking my butt.

Last week I went to the cinema to see The Odyssey and thought it pretty good! So, I'm feeling the Greek vibes and want to play more Hades II. But now I feel bad whenever I wipe the floor with one-eyed Polyphemus. Poor lad just wants to make cheese.

Oh, and I'm kinda itching to give Waterpark Simulator a go...it looks fun!
