Xbox Game Pass: All Games Coming Soon In August 2026

I'm excited about Beast of Reincarnation so much I'll probably buy a disc. Looking forward to trying Heretic and Resonance on gamepass though.

Intrigued by Beast of Reincarnation, but my backlog is huge so likely will hold out until I see it on sale since chances are I won't get around to it until it's on deep discount EVEN if I bought it day one.

@dreadful If a highly anticipated game from GameFreak and the newest Plague Tale game are a fall off in quality, I hope GamePass continues to fall!

Not my kind of month so far but that's ok. Might try Beast of Reincarnation but I already have too much to play.

I'm very intrigued to play Beast of Reincarnation, if only to see what Game Freak can do with time and a budget.

Game pass is absolutely dead. Not a single good first party game in the last 5 years. Not one. They announced so many big games years ago, with the intention of getting us on to their subscription.... Absolute trash.

@Sol-idsnake GamePass isn’t just first party games. And while they may not be your cup of tea, Beast of Reincarnation (from Pokémon devs GameFreak) and Resonance, the latest in the acclaimed Plague’s Tale series, are two of the biggest games coming out in August.

But we all have different tastes. Nothing wrong with cancelling GamePass if it isn’t meeting your expectations.

@Sol-idsnake no one is ramming anything down your throat - what a ludicrous statement. And saying there hasn't been a single good first party game in 5 years is quite a take considering just a few weeks ago they released the universally praised Forza Horizon 6. There's also also a huge number of very well received games on the service - KCD2, E33, Death Stranding, Crusader Kings, multiple Call of Dutys, Doom and its sequels. I won't bother going on as your post was so obviously just silly hyperbole that it's a bit of a waste of time.

If you are that dissatisfied with the service then unsubscribe and buy some games you actually want instead of composing foul mouthed rants on the internet that have no basis in reality.

I'll definitely play the new a plague tale when it drops hopefully it will still be good with the new gameplay direction the series is going

It's kind of sad to reflect that my expectations are very much tempered concerning Beast of Reincarnation because I know it's made by Game Freak. This was exactly the opposite about 15 years ago. I hope they can prove themselves with this and the next gen Pokémon games.

I could be jealous and annoyed that essential tier gets nothing, but then again, these new games are garbage anyways. Carry on.

Meh, I'm interested in most of the games, Beast of Reincarnation is great, and the new Plague Tale will be a classic.
