Four New Xbox Games Are Out Today, Including September's First Game Pass Release 1

It's the first day of September, which means we've entered a fresh month of new titles and Xbox Game Pass releases!

Of the five games launching today, we've got our eye on Crimson Moon, a superhuman hack n' slasher playable solo or in co-op with your mates. We particularly enjoy the crunchy-gory aesthetic, so it's one to keep your eye on. Joining that is Xbox Game Pass' first addition of the month, Shelldiver!

So, here's what launching on Xbox today (September 1):

Shelldiver (Xbox Game Pass) - Ultimate, PC

Take a deep breath and dive right into this cozy incremental game about a senior turtle trying to start a business selling jellyfish. Upgrade your equipment, explore biomes, and help your turtly village!

Crimson Moon

You are Nephilim: a human-angel hybrid forged to defend humanity with supernatural powers. Fight solo or with a friend to annihilate demons and challenge brutal bosses in relentless melée combat. Rise, violent one. The prophecy is yours to fulfill.

Other New Xbox Releases (September 1)

  • Salvation: Echoes of War (September 1): "Explore a haunting purgatory in this third-person stealth adventure. Injured and trapped in a nightmare after war, solve puzzles, outsmart enemies, and rely on your loyal companion to find a way back to life. Can you escape your past and survive the echoes of war?"
  • Tintle's Great Colorful Adventure (September 1): "Help Tintle, an adventurer who gains the ability to change colors as they travel through the sky to find their way back home. Jump, change between colors, teleport, and manipulate gravity to advance further through the clouds dodging traps as you get that much closer to finally arriving back home."
  • Dr. Atominus (September 1): "Dr. Atominus is a short platformer with metroidvania elements and a cool sci-fi story. Explore the 4th dimension, get unique abilities, and eventually, make the right choices."
