EA has enjoyed a good year so far, riding off the success of Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Despite releasing a month ago, many are still deep into the game, and it seems the wave of nostalgia may not be stopping there, as it's rumoured the company will be reviving another IP next month - which many are hoping is Dead Space.
July 22 marks the return of EA Play Live - the company's showcase of its upcoming games and projects. During this presentation, the company is said to be announcing an "established IP” revival, according to a recent video from industry insider Jeff Grubb. He referenced his previous rumour that EA’s Motive Studio is working on an IP revival, and his comments may possibly allude to it being Dead Space related.
“I think you’ll be happy. We’re going to see it… if we’re not dead first.”
Whether this comes to fruition remains to be seen. EA seems to slowly be bringing back many of its series' from the dead. Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and even Skate are seeing new entries on the horizon.
Many fans on Twitter and other social media platforms are hoping this is a Dead Space related project. Maybe a remastered trilogy in the same vein as Mass Effect Legendary Edition, or something new entirely.
It's been eight years since the last Dead Space entry, and while many of the team have moved on to work on The Callisto Protocol, we would love to see the official series make a return. We'll see what happens!

Yea Dead Space. The only EA franchise, apart from C&C, which I interested in.
Dead Space is probably one of, if not my absolute, favourite franchises of all time. I would dearly love to see a remastered collection of the first 3 games in the vein of the recent Mass Effect Legendary Edition. For me, it would be a day one purchase, no ifs, no buts.
That said, I'd also like to see a revival of the series in the form of Dead Space 4, but please, drop the needless addition of co-op that we saw in DS3, which whilst okay, for me detracted from the atmosphere present in the first two games.

I want Dead Space first. I’ll also take a new or completely redone SSX please. Maybe we’ll get a crossover and get a Dead Space snowboarding game. In space, no one can hear you shred.

I'd love it to be Dead Space, but they shut down the studio that made them and EA Motive Studios has only made one game, Star Wars Squadrons, which was a budget game.
A remaster would be possible, but I wouldn't trust them to make a new entry in the series.
The news could also be about the remaster of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, which Aspyr Media is apparently working on and EA will publish.
I'd personally love to see Army of Two but I feel I may be alone in this 😂
Dead Space Legendary Edition would be awesome, I have only played the Wii game Dead Space: Extraction but it would be funny to get a remastered trilogy now because I bought the 360 games on the (Xbox One) digital store and still haven't played them 😂.

I'd rather this wasn't Dead Space, I played through the original the other week in my series X and forgot how annoying it could be. But I guess we'll see, it could be interesting with modern graphics and ray tracing I guess?
Mirror's Edge, Black, Dead Space, all would be accepted with open arms. Skate 4 is already confirmed, but it would be cool to see it in action.

I kind of hope it’s not a trilogy remaster. Each time a remaster comes out, Xbox’s backwards compatibility loses a little bit of value it’s a shame. No wonder Sony doesn’t bother if everything just gets re-released anyway!
Everyone was so hyped for Mass Effect LE but I was just here thinking, I already have all 3 games on my Series X.

Dead Space hasn't aged a day gameplaywise. It's so much better than Mass Effect, and yet it doesn't get half as much love.
The real question will be... will it be going back to it's roots being a very very scary game..... or will it go back to the formula that killed this franchise that was dead space 2 ish and 3.....
Probably Command and Conquer. But I hope Mirror's Edge gets a new game.
