Re: Talking Point: Are Next-Gen Upgrades Worth Getting An Xbox Series X|S For?

This is a question I have been asking myself since I got my Series X on launch day. On one hand I was deep in the quarantine here in the U.S. at the time and anything mildly exciting was worth doing at the time. I am a huge Call of Duty fan and pairing the 120fps multiplayer with a new lg oled was almost worth buying the series x all by itself. I play hundreds of hours a year and 120fps almost feels like a cheat code. Also, I bought 2 years of gamepass with the ea pass work around. Gamepass is a game changer, but I didn’t need the series a for it. I do feel like I would have been perfectly fine with the Xbox one X I was using for another year, and it is kind of lame that there aren’t any mind blowing next gen games yet, but that is how the 360 was until Gears came out. At the end of the day, since it was not a financial hardship I believe it was worth it for me.

Re: Pick One: Which Of These Battlefield Games Is Your Favourite?

Wow, this was hard. Battlefield 1943 is the first one I played and I loved it. Battlefield 4 was so impressive as a launch title last-gen. Battlefield 1 is probably the one I played the most, but ultimately Battlefield V is my favorite because of the quick ttk and WWII island hopping campaign. As a former Marine machine gunner I always had a problem with lighting someone up with an LMG and them just walking it off....

@Dezzy70 I would agree that is frustrating. Is the Rock popular in Europe? I also wonder if he is launching the cross promotional energy drinks there at the same time as they US. I know I was definitely frustrated back in the day (being from the US) and reading all the awesome retro games Nintendo was launching on the eshop in the UK on Nintendolife. With the internet it’s not like we don’t know what is being rolled out across the pond anymore.
