Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Is Getting A Free Trial Later This Month

If you're yet to check out Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, then fear not, as an upcoming Free Access week will allow you to try various multiplayer and zombie experiences. It's set to begin on July 22 and run through until July 29.

While the featured playlists haven't been detailed yet, they're said to include the new map Rush and the entirety of the zombie map, Mauer Der Toten. Any Call of Duty: Warzone players will also be able to carry over their Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War weapons and global progress. Once the trial is over, any progress earned will continue on Warzone.

"From July 22 to July 29, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have a Free Access period featuring various Multiplayer and Zombies experiences, including playlists around the new map Rush and the entirety of “Mauer Der Toten!” Those who play Warzone will find all their Black Ops Cold War weapons and global level progress intact within the trial, and any progress earned during the trial will carry right back over to Warzone.

More intel to come next week about the exact playlists within the Free Trial, in addition to instructions on how to download and access it across all platforms."

This all comes to promote Season Four Reloaded, which not only introduces Rush and Mauer Der Toten, but a large array of new modes, challenges, weapons, and more. It's all been laid out in an extensive blog post by Activision, with Season Four Reloaded launching on July 15 for owners of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
