If you had limited resources to only develop for a single platform, as many small developers do, which option would you take?

Canceled Gamepass a while ago.

@Gabrie If my practices are any indication, they barely see anything on Xbox PC. I only but their games on steam at discount now.

Been burned too much to give full price on anything to them.

Been skipping these since the original one released forever ago.

Will continue to do so until they're bundled and discounted. We're at over half a decade now of waiting and still don't have the complete FF7 story remade. And that's ridiculous.

I'll check it out with a discount on Steam. Microsoft has lost too much goodwill for me to day and date it, regardless of how it looks. A hole of their own digging I'm afraid.

I love the game. It is like a deeper Castle Crashers. Pretty endearing world all around.

I'd imagine the proper support they give it, even going so far as to have it support VR, plays a good part in this.

First half of the year played a decent amount because finally player cyber punk.

Second half I haven't played it at all aside for lock black ops zombies for 4 player splitscreen. The last one to support it. Mainly because I canceled Gamepass and went back to mainly playing PC.

It does not have a turn based mode

It has an annoying half hearted mode that is like if you took Kingdom Hearts and made it worse. You just now have 3 Donald Ducks instead of 1. I'm sure they're talking of proper turn based combat like say, Expedition 33.

And accordingly you still have to take manual control of your characters because the AI is too dumb to handle a Digimon World-like combat system, despite classic mode being on Easy to help compensate, again, for how dumb the AI is.

Would be nice if Microsoft didn't push me away from Windows to Bazzite.

Hopefully Expedition 33 made everyone realize there's still room for old schools type RPGs and this leans into it.

If it is another Souls-like, or generic action RPG, I'm out.

It is the best version of any Halo to play.

Like me having a HD CRT plugged into my PC so I can play Halo like I did back in the day. Scales properly and all aside from text here and there.

The fact the Series S has to downgrade visuals for a game older than GTAV or Skyrim is wild.

I don't expect anything from Xbox. Let alone something for the 360's anniversary.

You mean like the over top tank skins and the bright neons some are wearing for some reason? Not 2042 tier goofy with Santa running around. But still goofy.

And yes. Like I said. Essentially no classes. You get inconsequential benefits that do nothing to really encourage using the correct weapons with the same class. Then they buried closed weapons, even in the beta, and let it die. Just one more step toward a more a CoD like experience.

That's to say nothing of the tiny map size, lackluster destruction, and a smattering of other issues.

Thankfully refunds are ways to get nowadays

@Avaloner Not sure how you can't with how tiny the maps are, how quick the TTK is, and for all intents and purposes having no classes due to unlocked weapons.

Your personal feelings also does not negate the fact they they were not only aiming for the CoD crowd, but that they're looking to move to yearly releases like CoD.

Definitely a miss for me.

Between the small maps, open classes, and movement, just feels like another CoD. Albeit it closer to classic CoD than modern.

Which honestly makes sense why it is doing so well since they were going for that audience.

What I worry about is the game going to yearly releases as previously mentioned and that turning Battlefield even further down the CoD path

OG Xbox memory card(if you had one) didn't fit the 360.

The 360's didn't fit the One.

The one just had USB which is kinda, Universal.

Eh. I've stopped buying games on my Xbox/Microsoft Store, and canceled Gamepass. So I'm fine with my current storage solutions.

I have 64GB of 6000MHZ CL30 RAM I bought at the beginning of the year for $200.

Today that exact same RAM costs $600.

Will be checking out the VR headsets, depending on price, to hopefully replace my Quest 3.

Gonna get the Steam controller as well to replacement my original one.

@BattleMonkey I canceled my Netflix when they hiked their prices as well.

Only reason I have it now is because it is offered, at no extra cost, with my phone plan.

Actually setting up my Kinect with my One X for my daughter and I. Such a shame Microsoft wasted a good chance with it by pricing it $100 more at launch.

I helped launch the original Kinect for the 360. And always loved Kinect 2.0 on the Xbox One

Numbers like these are exactly why Microsoft and Sony started making PC a priority.

You can really tell they are trying to court the CoD crowd. Almost as bad as Halo Infinite's MOBA-esque 3 lane approach.

Campaign felt as half assed as one that is canceled mid development does.
