Sony Is Hosting A Huge State Of Play This Week, Do You Think We'll Get Any Big Xbox Reveals?

Sony has announced that a huge PlayStation State of Play event is to go ahead this Thursday, February 12th - which you can read more about over at our sister site Push Square. Naturally, our PlayStation-loving pals have been all over this already, but we'll also be on-hand here at Pure Xbox to see what relevant reveals we might see later this week. After all, the team has confirmed that third-party games will be present at the show.

And, that has us thinking, do you think we'll get any big Xbox reveals during this week's Sony livestream? We're bound to get some third party devs show up that are bringing their shiny new projects to Xbox, so that's something to look forward to here. We're also in a world where the likes of Helldivers 2 is now on the Microsoft platform, so there's certainly more to look out for with major Sony showcases and marketing beats these days.

Having said that, we're certainly not counting on any PS Studios news for Xbox, especially given that the recently-announced Horizon Hunters Gathering multiplayer title is PS5 and PC only for now. Maybe that'll come to Xbox somewhere down the line? But we're definitely not expecting that anytime soon. Again, in a post-Helldivers 2 world, we'll just have to wait and see what happens next.

Either way, Sony has confirmed that this week's State of Play will be over an hour long featuring third-party reveals, so you can bet your bottom dollar that we'll be tuning in to see what happens. But, are you expecting any big Xbox-related reveals here? Do you have any guesses as to what might show up?

Talk to us about this down below - and let us know if you'll be tuning into State of Play; live this Thursday, February 12.
