@Xiovanni it’s gotten better for sure. I had a PS5 with the green screen in rest mode issue. I thought it would be eventually fixed with a Software update, but upon further researching it seemed that it was a hardware issue. I took it to a Sony Service center and the next day I was asked to come and pickup a brand new unit. It was 13 months old which means it was out of warranty but they replaced it free of charge, and got another 12 months of warranty along with my replacement unit.

@uptownsoul is the best one out of the three, tough. In my opinion.

@DeathByLasagna im going through it and runs and looks wonderfully on the Series X, and it has greatly exceeded my expectations.

I also thought this would be single player....interest on this one just completely disappeared!

I actually see it as the complete opposite to the Mandalorian. They showed the face right away to get it over with (albeit in a way that doesn’t make much sense), and it seems they’ll follow a greater storyline instead of A “villain of the week” format

loved the first one, and really enjoyed the combat system and exploration.

Looking forward to the sequel, hopefully not later than next year.

Here they go, announcing games that are at least 5 years away, and will fail to live up to any expectations.

@themightyant Fair confusion, I actually had that impression as well, thought it would be from the same guys that did Rage 2 and Mad Max, only to find out that they are completely different companies.

What does Avalanche Software has under their belt? I remember them from those Mortal Kombat ports in the 90’s, but have they developed any successful games? I just don’t remember hearing a lot about them.

This is cool, as if I buy the Next Gen upgrade I'll probably do it on PS5 instead of XSX due to the price, that's about max I am willing to pay for a Next Gen upgrade of a game I already own.

Guardians of the Galaxy is great, those who haven’t tried should take advantage of it, I really enjoyed it.

Got the Argentina version from CDkeys, which you just need to redeem with a VPN. 40 USD, so I won't feel so bad if I abandon it because of its difficulty!

@LtSarge I think the announcement said "expected to complete in the Fiscal Year ENDING in June 2023" or something along those lines.

@LtSarge I think it is June 2023 at the latest, as that's when the target fiscal year ends...the timing is vague, as it could be anytime between July 1st, 2022 and June 30th, 2023

@SplooshDmg Thanks for the feedback. Encouraging as you pretty much described my feeling towards the JRPG genre and anime as well.

What could this bring that I cannot do with my iPhone 13 already? Probably better support with a native app, but other than that if it is cloud only, I don’t see the point.

Still undecided of pulling the plug and buying Tales of Arise. I have enjoyed some Western RPGs, but don’t have much experience with JRPGs. Guess I’ll have to decide today.

Or wait until it is inevitable back on sale for the Christmas Holidays in a couple of weeks

As a Mexican I can confirm, no one who speaks fluent English locally just inserts Spanish words randomly like it is used in the game, unless a proper name or event that doesn’t have an English translation.

Listening at the dialogue at some adventures like the Vocho was cringeworthy because of that.

@InterceptorAlpha no. You need the subscription to maintain access to the base game. Once you cancel it, you would need to purchase it.

For someone getting into the game for the first time, is the anniversary upgrade recommended?

Forza Horizon 5. Also thinking about jumping into Skyrim for the first time. Still haven’t decided. Is the next gen upgrade worth it

My Xbox took its second trip to New Zealand, after another one two weeks ago to play Guardians of the Galaxy. Love that after all this years this is still possible.

Yeah in Mexico is very easy to get one also. Seems in the US is where they still have so much scarcity.

@Alex79uk Yeah and Nintendo and others would definitely be happy that Microsoft has provided an officially sanctioned emulators for you to load with ROMs to your heart's content. As much as I would love this to happen, also understand that they have to work out deals with publisher rights and in some cases it is hard to determine IP ownership rights due to older companies no longer existing or to many ownership changes.

I love owning all three. It is so nice that I can look forward to playing any game I like, regardless where it is coming to.

Now Xbox is usually my go-to for multiplatform games, but Nintendo and Sony have also their own must play exclusives that I don't want to miss.

So in my house, the XSX, PS5, and Switch all share a joyful spot, next to each other.

I'm much more excited about Saber Interactive's updated version of The Witcher 3 than Cyberpunk 2077. Cyberpunk should just disappear already and focus on their next thing which hopefully can save their reputation. Nothing can change that game.

Problem is if they do that, the lose control of the timing. Several would just skip through the announcements to be the first to tweet about them.

Guess here is my excuse to go back and finish the DLC, and destroy the order once and for all!

I’ll mostly pay for the campaign solo, so no impact for me. But understand that this is a big deal for other players, especially couch co-op

Cool would love to revisit quake over the weekend. Been a while. I had a blast playing DOOM 64 on my switch last year. Bring Quake on

@101Force what would they do with Nintendo Online tough? Offer a bunch of SNES & NES games on Xbox?I think Nintendo would be the ones opposed to that
