Death Stranding, I always forget that it is in PC Gamepass, so whenever I see a picture on this site I think “Why would they show that game picture in this article”.

I am one of those who really enjoyed that game….one of my more memorable gaming experience from the last few years. I would recommend everyone to access to it to at least give it an opportunity.

Xbox is taking a break ahead of Starfield. Currently going though Final Fantasy 16 and Tears of the Kingdom. Awesome pair of games.

@Kang81 it looks like Microsoft has closed the ability to convert gold to game pass ultimate on a 1:1 ratio now.

@Sifi why are you comparing Gamepass to the basic tier. Those are not comparable offerings. PS Plus essential competes with Games with Gold, not game pass.

@gollumb82 it’s a very valid complaint. I can’t even remember the last time I bothered to claim a Game with Gold, while PS Plus has much more compelling offerings, having AAA games that are not so old regurlarly. At this point I don’t know why Microsoft even bothers with games with gold.

@Kang81 cdkeys they have 3 months of live gold for 10. Remember you must let your active subscription to expire before redeeming the codes.

I will, but only because last month my GamePass expired, so stacked several 3 months live gold card and converted to GPU. covered until 2026 for aprox 100 USD. Can’t believe they haven’t closed that loophole.

Good that I stacked 3 years of Xbox Live Gold last month after my GamePass Ultimate expired, then I converted to GamePass Ultimate, as they 1:1 conversion ratio still works. Now I'm covered until 2026 and I roughly paid only 100 USD for 3 years.

30fps in 2023….. not too bothered as it is a Gamepass game after all, but I’ll always take fps over resolution. Would gladly take 1080p 60 fps over this .

I only want a surprise new DOOM announcement. DOOM and DOOM Eternal are two of my favorite games of last gen.

Not much in June for me. Never been a fan of Diablo or Street Figther. Still, this year started strong. In May and I’ve already had Dead Space, Metroid Prime Remastered, Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil 4, Horizon Burning Shores, Jedi Survivor and currently going through Tears of the Kingdom. With Starfield and Mortal Kombat 1 still to come, can’t complain much.

@Spider-Kev It's always been like with fighting game as far as I can remember.

Remember when Street Fighter II came out, only to be followed by championship edition, only to be followed by Street Fighter II Turbo, then Super SFII and so on? And you had to buy the full game each time to get the new characters. Mortal Kombat was not better: MK3, UMK3, MK Trilogy, etc.

It would be nice that they threw a hidden unlockable character in the base game, like there used to be in the old games.

I just asked Microsoft for a refund. Runs like crap in my Series X. Incredible that the reviewer gave stellar scores. It is almost cyberpunk level bad and becomes a slideshow

Don’t think I’ll squeeze it between Jedi Survivor and Tears of the Kingdom. Maybe after I’m done with both of those

Hogwarts and Dead Space on Xbox Series X. Good combination, very different game that allow me to play them interchangeable without confusing the input.

I'm currently switching between Dead Space and Hogwarts Legacy. I usually stick to one game, but since these two are so different it makes a combo, and minimal "muscle memory" errors due to different button inputs.

Quick resume is a god send when doing this.

@JPSoler Its a WB game, not by EA, so there's 0% chance it will appear in EA Play. WB Games have appeared in Game Pass but after 2 years or so (MK11 for example, was released in April 2019, but didn't appear in Game Pass until Dec 2021).

Back to the original topic, I did spend a lovely day in New Zealand today. A couple of hours until I head back home.

Been having a lovely day in New Zealand today. Very fun game, production values are too notch, great graphics, haven’t had any glitches. I’m not even a fan of Harry Potter, pleasantly surprised.

If reviews are good on Monday morning, I'll move to New Zealand and play the deluxe edition.

So hope Microsoft is refunding every single dollar spent on this PoS, instead of just closing the server. Shutting down a paid game after 15 months is definitely not acceptable. The 10 or so people that bought this need to be refunded.

Going through Blood and Wine expansion on The Witcher 3, this could be a whole game on its own, it is huge.

I’m very excited to have it. Already went through the first two levels in 00 Agent. Amazed how I can hum to the soundtrack, and remember the objectives after not playing it in over 20 years. Love the modern controls, feels like they were always that way (mostly because of muscle memory built over the last years)

I think this one will be a huge disappointment, primarily because it is the first game of this caliber from this developer.....

I bought Elden Ring and recently just purchased Sonic Frontiers on sale, that was it.

Truth be told, I did buy a few more games on Playstation: Horizon Forbidden West, Last of Us Remaster and God of War Ragnarok

I don't think the graphics were the problem with this game. Mostly, it was the dated fighting mechanics and complicated inventory management system.

I want to give it another run when this releases, but thinking of those two things makes me wonder if I really want to dive in.

No more remakes, just new games. A new series. A sequel to Shadow, etc. new stories and challenges.

We all know Square enjoys game exclusivity dollars, and that’s Sony’s favorite tactic.

So, given the the Xbox version will have less content, I assume it will also have reduced price, right? This is the worst kind of exclusivity for me. They are happy to take Sony’s money, but they don’t want to take full exclusivity as they don’t want to miss on Xbox revenue….if they make it exclusive, then they should be ready to miss on the other console’s revenue. Not just sell an inferior version. Just as I never bought Avengers because of something similar (with Spider-man) I’ll pass on this one. Do not support these practices (easy for me as I am not interested in this game, or have much faith on this developer).

Elden Ring....Only Forbidden West comes close for me. Let's see when/if God of War releases in November if they get any competition. I did enjoy the XSX version of Cyberpunk but that isn't even listed.

What a barren year 2022 has been for AAA releases in general. Shredder's Revenge was enjoyable for the couple of evenings it lasted, and have enjoyed playing some older games on GamePass, but as far as new 2022 releases there isn't much. Next year looking promising tough given all the delays.

Yeah, just like RDR2 and GTAV before it. I'll believe it when I see it.

I got it, completed it and sold it last year. Definitely enjoyed it quite a bit but got old quickly. Still, if you haven't tried yet and it hits GamePass, I think everyone should give it a try - you'll have fun.

I have enjoyed the latest AC titles and Fenyx; problem is I already own them. There’s nothing in their catalogue I’m really itching to play

@Kaloudz They don't have to.....it's their product, they can sell at the price they decide their product is worth. If we showed them more often with our wallets then they would reconsider, but most of us buy them anyway (I'm guilty guilty some Sony games at 70).

@Would_you_kindly it could come with a license to use the IP for “x” number of years. That’s only way any buyer would be compelled to do it. Otherwise they get Mortal Kombat, and a bunch of games they can’t do any sequels to.
