It's almost time for Elden Ring! Finally, FromSoftware's latest is almost upon us, as it releases Friday, February 25th. The developer has shared the specific release times too, showing the exact moment we can all go hands on.
As you can see, the vast majority of launch times, on console, are midnight local time. This is true of everywhere except the US, which splits things up.
If you're on the east coast, using ET, it's midnight there too. For CT players, you're looking at 11pm. Finally, PT users can go hands on at 9pm. PC release times vary worldwide, but it's looking nice and simple for Xbox users.
Of course, if you live in New Zealand or Australia, you can start playing it already...

10/10 i'm so hype i did go back almost two week to dark souls 3 to warm myself up and i was suprise to see or encounter so many other players on xbox live it's seems the hype is real, i reached almost the end game with a sorceress and then created a new character lv 1 naked to do a dexterity build character i have such a blast on dark souls 3 even if my hands get sweaty against bosses. xD
Seems like New Zealand will be crowded this Thursday!

@jonnybuck84 read something by a games journalist that had been playing the various elden ring tests and he said could well be the game of a generation...im literally counting down the second until release.
Has anyone here activated the punch card on xbox rewards and then not had the pre order show up so the second punch card box isn't ticked?

@Medic_Alert i'm sure this one will be so much fun to play with others players you will have no time to get bored they will kill the grind loop on this one and make it less tempting because in dark souls 3 you are in a linear map now you got all the elden ring world to explore 😊👌

After i spent so many hours with a stick and casting magic in dark souls 3 i think i will go on elden ring with a sword and shield for my first playthrought or maybe as thief with a bow, i can't wait 🙌

Had my series x almost a year now and it really is a great console...tempted to stay up late on Thurs and play elden ring at midnight or just have Friday off work, genuinely excited to play it.

@Kalele how did you feel about the Gael fight at the very end?
I hated every second of that fight. Everything about that dlc was killer except for the Gael fight mechanics.
I want to check it out but my backlog is too big. I'm hoping it will pop up on sale in a few months when I have the time to play it.
