Maybe release a COD game every year and then skip a year?
Waiting 2 years to play the latest Call of Duty title seems a bit long for me as i love the single player campaigns and FPS is my favourite genre.

Hopefully this will mean old Call Of Duty games will get framerate and resolution boosts. I personally love COD games, not gonna lie. Nice one Microsoft, now all i need is a Series X and an LG OLED. Buy Capcom next.

Still playing Halo Infinite and still playing Forza Horizon 4 on my X until i get a Series X then i will get 5. Also just started playing Gears of War Judgement having never played it before. One final thing on Halo Infinite - this game really is beautiful graphically even on an X .
I use an external SD drive to further cut down on loading times and i have also read it improves the visuals too.

@Banjo- I couldn't agree more. The Perfect Dark Xbox 360 Remaster is superb and hopefully (if this is true) Goldeneye will have the same polish. I played Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Turok 2 a little TOO much back in my N64 days but have no regrets.
I really hope this is true.

Playing on a Xbox One X and despite a few technical problems with the graphics - strange glitches and pop up - i am loving it.
My main criticism with the game is with the environment and that it really doesn't change.

Playing Halo Infinite and i have to say after playing it more and more i am really enjoying it.

@Dezzy70 I hope this is the last open world Halo game they do.
I much more prefer the linear style of the earlier games.
Or if they do another one like this make it planet hopping with different visual environments like Metroid Prime. Seven years in development and we get Halo Infinite, kind of shocking.

@Dezzy70 I know it's off topic but i have just started playing Halo infinite and i agree with you, i am disappointed with the game.
Maybe my expectations were two high but i am not feeling it at the moment.
Playing it on a Xbox One X and maybe it runs better on a Series X but regardless i can't put my finger on it but the game just doesn't feel right. A lot of graphical glitches, pop up and visually, i just find it a little bland.
Only just started playing it and i hope visually it changes a little and also don't enjoy the open world gameplay yet.

I hope the creators of the Anlogue Pocket do a Gamecube and a Wii one day.

I bought and played the Xbox 360 version a couple of months ago and although i enjoyed it somewhat the 30fps and the fact it remained dark all the time and never changed soon bored me.

I'm not gonna lie surprised at so many positive reviews and really high scores the game has received so far, really looking forward to playing it soon😃😃😃

@UltimateOtaku91 To be honest i don't care about "the story" in games for me it's about the game and gameplay and that includes Halo but you might feel differently.

Maybe one day in the future, when it will be the present, "pop - in" will be a thing of the past 😊

Was going to get an OLED next year for 4K /120fps gaming, but what's the point when next gen games don't run at this resolution anyway? Think i'll stick to my Philips Ambilight.
As for Halo Infinite, looking forward to playing it over Christmas.

I hope it's ODST 2 or another game related to Reach.

@RedShirtRod O I agree with you when it comes to the console, having said that i must admit i really like the Halo Infinite Elite Controller.

Was going to click on the videos but decided not as i don't want to be spoiled. I don't currently have a Series X and i am hoping the game runs pretty well on X Box X.

Unless they can transform into an actual Series X, i'm not interested.

That's good to hear. As long as there are great single player games and campaigns to play, so will i.

As much as i am looking forward to Infinite, i really don't want to see any campaign footage at all until i actually play the game myself.
I know some people may think that's weird, but that's how i want to experience this game - totally unspoiled.

That's a really nice controller you have there, wish i could afford one. I have heard the Power A Fusion Pro 2 Controllers are ok, i might treat myself to one.

I think i maybe in the minority here but the design is ugly.
Hopefully in 12 - 18 months time from now Series x will be more regularly available to buy in stores and there will be some special editions from Capcom and Turn 10 Studios.

I would love for Microsoft to make this a feature in normal joypads but i don't think they will.

I would love to see Fear and Fear 2 added to backwards compatibility (with 4k and 60FPS please) and Outun 2 and Outrun 2006. While the former is possible with the latter i'm more likely to go into a game store this year and pick up a shiny new Series X.

I have an X Box X and because a lot of games i have/plan to get are enhanced on Series X i definitely want one by next November as i also plan to get a 42" LG OLED.
If they are still not easily available at that time i will be willing to pay extra and get one from CEX or Game.

I've just seen this news story and i personally think this looks better than the Halo Infinite limited edition console.
I just wish there were other ways to win this console as i am not on Twitter and it seems nowadays you need to have a twitter account to enter these type of competitions which i think is a little unfair.

@Halucigens I understand and there are more important things to worry about right now but i just find it really frustrating that i can't go to a store and buy a Series X. Sony seem to be releasing PS5s at a much more regular occurence than Microsoft for some reason.

I know it's off topic, but i would have thought getting more X Box Series X consoles in stores would be and should be Microsoft's top priority.

Don't care about "story" in games and never will, what i do care about however is gameplay but that's just me.
Hopefully the campaign in Infinite will be of the quality of the earlier Halo games.

I agree with you, i need to watch it in 4k.
I was hoping the rumours of the game being set in Mexico were untrue and it would be in Japan or China.
However, maybe Mexico City will look great, we shall see.

I am bitterly disappointed by that, only two games interest me Halo and Forza. Why did they not show any new gameplay campaign footage for Halo Infinite? Shocking.
I'm worried about the quality of this game.

I think we will see a Halo Infinite Series X in November.
I just hope i will be able to buy one in a store, but i doubt it.

To take full advantage of the new hardware takes time, if Forza Horizon 5 is released this year i think people shouldn't be expected to be blown away by the visuals. Don't get me wrong, i love the games and i'll be happy if it is.

I don't have a display that supports it or an Xbox Series X so i don't know what all the fuss is about which is frustrating as i mainly play first person shooters. Hopefully by November i will have both. I can't wait.

If i want a good story i would read a book series or watch a US TV drama. For me gameplay was, is and will always be king. When i listen to a podcast and an idiot goes on about "the story" i just laugh my head off. Pac- Man Championship Edition and the sequels are the best games i've played in years. Pure gameplay.

I have got to be honest, i think those images look incredible in ultrawide aspect ratio settings. I have never owned a gaming PC but i wish i did...

I'll be surprised if Forza Horizon 5 is released before Forza Motorsport 8. I like both games but when Motorsport 8 is released it needs to be supported more than 7 was with DLC and new cars over time.

As strange as it may sound i don't look at what is being released in the future so when a great game is released i am genuinely surprised. I am aware of Halo Infinite of course and a few others but i don't seek out info on new games or watch game trailers.

I sit close to a table and i plan on getting a wired controller later this year to cut down on latency but i'm not sure about buying this controller.

I love FP shooters and i love the Halo campaigns, i even like Halo 5 which honestly is bad.
November can't come soon enough as far as i'm concerned but summer is what i'm really looking forward to.

It's funny i have wanted a green one for so long but now i have seen it i prefer the red and blue one.
Maybe the shade of green isn't quite right for my taste.
