I thought it would come out 2028 but with the latest announcements by Microsoft and Sony I think it will come out October/November 2027 along with Sony Playstation 6.
If not it will 100% be out 2028.

I am in the minority on this but I don't like the first person Resident Evil games and did not like the graphics on this one either.
I am looking forward to the 3rd person remakes / new games though.

Forza Horizon 6 and the next Halo game (if it's good).

This game is currently £3.99 on the Microsoft Store so gonna use my Microsoft reward points and buy it!!!

I'm pretty sure it will launch in 2028 and not 2027 but what do I know?
2027 still seems to soon for my liking.

I love Turok 2 but not sure about this one as I never played it on the N64.
I seem to remember the reviews were not so good.

2028 launch in my opinion with maybe the handheld launch in 2027 which I have zero interest in.
Forza Horizon 7 (maybe) and a new Halo game too.
3 years may seem a long way away for some but it's not really.

I have not read all these comments so someone may mention what I think but with all the profit Microsoft will make putting their games on Switch 2 and Playstation 5 maybe they can undercut the Playstation 6 with their upcoming next gen console.

I have absolutely no interest in buying an Xbox handheld as I just play games on my Series X at home.

I think the handheld will be out 2026 and next gen console 2027 if we are lucky.

Perhaps I need to read the article but how will I be able to play all the games I have bought on the the X Box store on a Playstation 5 or a Nintendo Switch 2?

Hopefully Turn 10 are listening to the criticism regarding lack of new and old tracks and in the future we will see them.
We can only hope.

As some others have said it needs more tracks, LOADS more tracks.
Having said that I play it almost daily as the game now has daily/weekly challenges and the game looks amazing on my Series X in HDR when doing night races.
Don't have a PS5 and GT7 so cannot compare the two and got the game for £10 so can't complain.

I plan on picking up a second hand copy of COD Black Ops Cold War on disc from CEX here in the UK for £15 in the next few days but digitally it is still expensive.
Giving consumers a choice is very important.

The quality and standard of grammar is deteriorating by the day in some of these comments.

Forza Horizon 4 comes out and "It's not better than 3".
Forza Horizon 5 comes out and "It's not better than 4".
Forza Horizon 6 comes out and "It's not better than 5"...

I have said it before and I will say it again as long as Microsoft continue to make consoles I will continue to buy them as I am fully in the Xbox ecosystem as I have bought loads of games.
I have been lucky enough to have got many games for free too thanks to Microsoft rewards and as long Microsoft Rewards is a thing and they continue to develop new consoles and I will buy them period.
If however AAA game franchises such as the Forza Horizon come out day one for Playstation that may change.
I don't see that happening though.

Gears to be honest, never really liked it.
Don't like the gameplay and the visuals and the overall vibe of the game.

It still crashes and sends me back to the dashboard (or even switches the console off sometimes) but the game looks and plays great and with more cars and tracks is getting better and better.

Well to be honest I do not have a Switch yet but plan to buy one at Black Friday and then it will be for the Nintendo exclusives and the third party games and the indie games I will buy on my Series X.

Even if I was rich I would never pay that much money for a controller, ever.
I have not yet got controller drift on any joypads I have bought for my Xbox, maybe I have just been lucky.

Sony and Nintendo beg to differ.

Personally I cannot really complain that Microsoft are doing this as I have over the past 7 or 8 years got a lot of games on their store for sometimes nothing or pennies.
It was good while it lasted.

If Microsoft were truly focused and committed to selling Xbox consoles all there games would be exclusively on Xbox only and not on PlayStation 5 or Nintendo Switch.

I have no great love for any billion dollar tech companies, but it seems to me the FTC have for whatever reason got a genuine hatred for Microsoft.

Cannot play Forza Horizon 5 weekly forzathon at the moment.

I got this earlier this month from Argos for just £9.99 and I have been playing on and off everyday.
The game needs more tracks I feel, but the handling of the cars and the HDR is brilliant especially the night time races and the graphics are much more colourful but the game needs more cars and tracks definitely.

I actually think next years showcase will be better than this years one.

@Banjo- Maybe it will happen a few months down the line like it does with other games first on Playstation and Switch then appearing on Xbox.

Well buying a PS5 Slim in the November sales so I will buy it sometime in the future I guess.
I played a lot of these games in the arcade (especially Marvel Superheroes and X Men Vs Streetfighter) so definitely going to get this collection.
Played Marvel Vs Capcom 2 on Dreamcast too.
This really is an excellent collection, no pun intended.

I think I will go Xbox news dark until Sunday as I doubt any of these rumours will turn out to be true.

Does this game have dungeons like the pre BOTW Zelda games?

All have been good except 360 which of course had the red ring of death.
Original Xbox fine, Xbox One S & X again no issues.
Currently have a Series X and it runs perfectly.

Forza Horizon 6 (Japan or China), Halo Infinite Campaign DLC, Perfect Dark 3, New Doom, Wolfenstein, Control 2 and Gears 6.

Nobody slaughter me for saying this, but I am really not a fan of the black borders for this game.
Is this an artistic decision or are they using that as an excuse because technically the hardware cannot handle the game full screen?
I have the first game but did not compete it and will pick this up when it goes on sale in 12/18 months as I never pay full price for a game.

Negative rumours for a game or console are extremely damaging for any brand and those who spread them are an absolute disgrace.
I am really looking forward to this Summer and all the game showcases to come from Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft.

I think I need to start saving up for a PC....

I have an Xbox Series X and I love it.
However, if in the future the Forza games and other Xbox games go to the Playstation there will be little point in buying a next gen Xbox console I will just buy a Playstaion 6.

@Chrisajax I am not a Sony Playstation owner I have an Xbox Series X just making light of the fact that I will probably be disappointed, but who knows?
