@AtlanteanMan On a similar note I would like to see randomly generated skyline and cloud formations.
Kind of sick of seeing the same skies and clouds all the time, but maybe that is not possible with current tech.

Forza Horizon 6 needs to be different how?
Easier said than done, you cannot remake the wheel.

If and when Microsoft do a mid gen upgrade Series X Pro they will probably announce a number of titles that will get a resolusion / framerate boost.
Depending on what those games will be I would be willing to upgrade.

I still remember reading a lot of previews/reviews of the game before it came out.
The gaming magazines raved about the game and i remember being very skeptical looking at the screenshots and having never played a 3D FPS before.
I thought it can't be that good...how wrong i was!!!

Slightly disappointed the game isn't 60FPS, but cannot really complain as it's free if you have game pass or RR.
Will play it fully when it has achievements working.

Finally the N64 holy trinity together again (Goldeneye, Turok 2 and Perfect Dark)on XBox Series X.

FPS are my fave game genre so the more the merrier, really looking forward to this.

I'd like to think there will be quite a few 2D indie hidden gems that will be released in 2023.

I think Goldeneye will be released in December and announced at the Game Awards as "Now available on Game Pass"...

Currently playing it on my Xbox Series X and while at first was not that impressed with the game, over the last few weeks began to like it more and more.
Love the atmosphere, the art style and the graphical effects.
Really looking forward to the sequel, great news. 😊😊😊

Will play through the campaign again in November in HDR for the first time when i get a OLED/QLED as i love the gameplay even though the visual style is a bit bland.
Look forward to future DLC whenever that will be.

Nostalgia is powerful your right but i really don't know why.
It's weird but when it comes to games, nostalgia is more distinct to me than other mediums like film or music.
As you say the QOL improvements get better with each FH game but for some reason or another i don't seem to be enjoying the game compared to past iterations.
Maybe the problem is me and i need a break from gaming.

Forza Horizon 5 is not as good as Forza Horizon 4 which in turn is not as good as Forza Horizon 3.
Forza Horizon 3 is the best in the series. Sure, FH5 has better graphics and more cars, but i just find it less fun.
As some have said before i think the series needs a break for a few years and Microsoft need to be brave and bring back the PGR series.

If i could afford to buy one probably would but i think they need to add more design options also.

Everything is subjective but i call a spade a spade and this "entertainment product" is barely a game and has very little gameplay in the traditional sense of the word.
For me gameplay was and always will be king and i don't care one iota about "characters" or "story" in games and never will.
If i want to experience such things i watch a TV series/movie or read a book.

I don't see much gameplay there.
Remember that, gameplay?

There has never been a better time to play them, the first and think the second run at a silky smooth 60fps on Series X.

Forza Horizon is the best racing series, PGR4 is one of my favourite racers of all time, wish it was backward compatible.

I'm not gonna lie, that's a really pretty controller.
Out of my price range, story of my life.

I only play single player games and if and when they are no longer made that is when my gaming hobby will come to an end.
Thankfully i have a massive back catalogue of games i can replay and dozens of games on Xbox, Switch and Sony Playstation 4 and 5 i still have not got round to.

I got £4 Friday, though i did buy a Series X from a local Argos Thursday. Will buy a 42" OLED next year to complete my set up.

Maybe the next DLC after Hot Wheels could be in the style of Project Gotham Racing and they could call it Project Forza Racing. PGR 3 and 4 were great and i would love to see a PGR 5.

You wait years for a Dead Space and then two come along at the same time, not complaining though.

I really like the art style, looks much better than 5.
Will definitely buy it in the future, but i'm prepared to wait.

I wish they would add more achievements to the campaign as i don't play multi player. Always play through the HMCC campaigns every 6 months or so but have not touched Halo Infinite campaign since i competed it last December.

It look's hamstrung by it's budget.
Cortana looks weird and it looks fan made in places, don't have Paramount+ which is probably a good thing.
Ideally it would be a HBO production but maybe one day if it is successful it will have a big budget movie.
