Re: Indie Devs Worry About What The Activision Deal Means For Xbox Game Pass

isturbo1984

The answer is yes. It's not even an opinion. Look at Netflix. Or any digital game store. The more you have, the less lime light other games will get. Your indie game will get one slot in the "recently added" section and then that's it. Unless it gets special promotion... which "indie hit" Boyfriend Dungeon (lol! nice one, Ben) did get a special seat at the table.

Re: Sifu Xbox Release: When Is It Coming To Series X And Series S?

isturbo1984

This game got so much buzz. It's a crying shame they felt they had to strike a sleezy deal with Epic Games and PlayStation. I'll play it when and if it comes to GP.

@Johnnel SquareEnix is in bed with PlayStation again. the writing is on the wall. All the FF games were supposed to come to Game Pass within the first year they were announced. Where did they go? SE dolled them out over time, only one or two titles on the service at a time. Now they are all expiring. Still no FF14. and now 16 is an exclusive, rumor is not just one year. Read some tea leaves, man.

Re: The Xbox Activision Deal Will Receive An Antitrust Review In The US

isturbo1984

@NeoRatt Yes. The US is better. Slavery ended more than 200 years ago here. It's still. Going. On... in China. Look, I don't know what your bizarre deal is and why you wanted to turn this conversation into this communist anti-USA, pro-China thing. But this has gotten off topic. I answered your question, a question you already knew the answer to. People HATE having conversations with bad faith actors like you. You waste everyone's time playing games. Go engage in your socialist activism on a different website. We're trying to talk about video games here.

Re: PlatinumGames' Hideki Kamiya Is Still Keen To Team Up With Xbox

isturbo1984

Kamiya is famous for blocking people on twitter than he is game development. Phil would be an idiot to lend this waste of space money for a project. How many Platinum projects came out during development for Scalebound? If you ask me, they were siphoning off Microsoft money and diverting it to other projects.

Re: The Xbox Activision Deal Will Receive An Antitrust Review In The US

isturbo1984

@NeoRatt Well I answered your question. Which was "when?" That's when. I don't care who you think is a hero.

Also, You are wrong about a few things. Russia, North Korea, the United Nations and the Biden Administration are all friends with China. Maybe YOU need to "learn to co-exist" with the CCP that commits genocide against Muslims and their own people, but the world doesn't need to. And what are you talking about risking "alienating a billion consumers??" They live under communism rule. Do you know what that means, son? They don't have consumer freedom, rights and a voice like they do in the West. They don't even use the internet we do. You aren't talking to any Chinese online. They are all locked away in a bubble inside their country. Do you not get it?

To reiterate my original point, is that the government institutions overseeing this investigation is probably a kangaroo court. A kangaroo court you obviously are in favor of because ulterior motives align with your globalist ideals. Cool. But just don't lie about it and waste my time with this bad faith argument.

Re: Ghostwire Tokyo Xbox Release: When Is It Coming To Game Pass?

isturbo1984

@Titntin Okay. Fair enough. I was just a little surprised was all. I was a little in disbelief, but you suspended said disbelief. Just the way you worded it, as you said, wasn't particularly "well put." Like being excited for haptic feedback, ignoring that Xbox controllers have it, then changing the subject to a more generalized "capabilities," pretending I am unaware of the PS5's said capabilities. You can have your tastes, but to continue lie, project and sidestep the convo is not something I'm going to dismiss. But I was pretty much just curious if you were genuine about being excited for this game. You don't need to defend your reasoning. I get it. I also agree with the Xbox Inclusive Welcoming Committee, it's nice to have the choice.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (February 5-6)

isturbo1984

New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe (Switch) and Fallout 4 (XSX).
NSMBU is the best game in the NSMB series. I played it on the Wii U and loved it. Finally replaying it wit the Deluxe port for the Switch. It's just weirding me out a little bit because I'm used to Mario Maker physics. Already 100%'d Fallout, but I'm playing again with a new set of 100 mods for a new experience. Wasn't planning on popping this one in and doing that, but oh well lol.

Re: Phil Spencer "Wouldn't Take No For An Answer" When Creating Xbox Game Pass

isturbo1984

You always want staff that are going to push back and challenge ideas. The last thing you want are Yes Men working under you that are going to go allow with every bad idea you want. Theres always the third option people forget about, the best option... The end result isn't either just "yes, this idea is good, we're doing it" or "no, this idea is terrible, forget it." The best option is initially "no as is, here is what we have problems with, how do we make it better, and eventually improved to be a yes." Game Pass seems like it is the result of the third and best option. All thanks to an understanding leader and a good support staff.

Re: Sony Explains Why Bungie Joined PlayStation Studios

isturbo1984

What a GIANT load of horsespit, lol. The fact that Sony is making a statement and not Bungie tells me everything I need to know. Sony had CoD and Destiny. That was it. Sony saw CoD being purchases and in desperation and fear, secured the last large FPS ip for their platform. It was a smart move. But a move out of desperation. That's the main reason. Although, I do concede on the idea that Sony has a desire to bastardize the brand with a presence on the big screen in the same way they did with Uncharted and TLOU.

Re: Ghostwire Tokyo Xbox Release: When Is It Coming To Game Pass?

isturbo1984

These "obligatory" Bethesda timed exclusives seem pretty lackluster to me. Not saying I won't eventually get to them, but I see nothing that is hurrying me up.

@Titntin I mean, I get being so excited you need to play day one, no matter how expensive and no matter what platform.. for me, that's TES and Dragon Quest. But this? Ghostwire is the game you are going to get up on your pedestal and talk about how you absolutely can't wait to play with haptics (Which Xbox has, btw) whle talking down to the poors who apparently are just forced to suffer? lol

Re: Review: OlliOlli World - The Best 2.5D Skateboarding Experience You Can Have

isturbo1984

@nofriendo I'm more interesting in the belief system that you don't think laziness exists. I suppose its like emptiness, the absence or lack of something physical is described as being empty. Laziness is the lack of effort. I believe the developers lacked any effort put into this particular art style. Similar to why so many Japanese devs do cell-shaded games over and over, because its easier.
